Braydon blushed a little pulling the sheets over his face. "Shut up." Braydon said quietly.
"Just wanna spend time with you." Braydon said. He sad with a lazy smile. "We could do whatever I'm assuming you don't wanna leave the house." Braydon said he pursed his lips and glanced at Blake.

Blake just grinned, knowing that Braydon was probably embarrassed about it, even if Blake did think it was all kinds of hilarious. Besides, it'd be fine as long as no one pulled his shirt up which, considering his attendance at school hadn't been the best lately, probably wasn't going to happen. He moved to sit back on the bed, shrugging his shoulders before finally replying, "I don't mind I mean, I'm kind of tired and have a headache, but I pretty much always do. Besides, I have to actually face the world one day, right?"

"It was just a thought to be honest I don't want we'd do." Braydon said. "We could go to the boardwalk." Braydon suggested. The board walk had little roller coaster rides and it was always fun to go there epically cause the ic we cream and shit they had there.

"Yes," Blake agreed, a hint of childish excitement in his voice as he spoke, "let's do that." A bright grin spread across his face then, the thought of going admittedly a little more exciting than it should be. He hadn't been since he was little, mainly because his dad used to take him and his sister on Christmas Eve, when they were both too young to really be anything but eager to do absolutely everything they could in five minutes... Even if that wasn't technically possible. It'd stopped when his sister hit high school and decided she was just a little too caught up in the school's hierarchy to even think about keeping tradition. She was at Uni now, so any idea of the tradition returning where long gone. It'd be nice to go back, even if it would end up being a little nostalgic.

Braydon stood up and helped Blake up. He then went downstairs with him. "Do you wanna leave a not for your mom or text or no?" Braydon said with a smile. He looked over at Blake.

Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he half waved it at Braydon to show that he'd just text her, knowing that there wasn't much point but figuring it'd probably put Braydon's mind, at least. The reality was that his mum didn't actually care about whether he went out or not and, if anything, she'd probably be relieved to get home and find him gone. She hadn't had the house to herself in a long time and, whilst he was fairly sure she enjoyed finally getting to really look after someone again (Blake had a nasty habit of insisting he didn't need any help with things because he wasn't a kid anymore, but all that had gone out the window the day of the accident), she was clearly exhausted from it now. Finishing the text and hitting send, he put his phone away and slipped his hands into Braydon's practically pulling him out the door now. "Come oooon.." he whined, grinning and Braydon like a child.

Cars. Blake had forgotten that getting to the boardwalk actually required driving, something he hadn't actually done in a long time. Hell, he hadn't even been near a car, net mind in one... He hadn't even gotten in yet and he was already nervous, heart racing as he forced himself to get over it and get in, somehow managing to convince himself it wouldn't be as bad once he was inside. He was wrong. And yet he refused to say anything, offering Braydon a small grin as they set off. His eyes were glued to the road and he watched the cars around them carefully as if almost expected something to go wrong. His heart still raced. A few cars passed by with ease, a blue Volvo turning onto the road in front of them whilst another - was that? No. It couldn't be. And yet Blake couldn't get the image of Sophie's car driving out in front of th - the sound of Mason's laugh echoing in his head before it quickly turned to fear, and they were spinning upside down in a crumbled metal box that once was a car, kids screaming until everything just went black.
"Stop the car." It was all Blake could manage to whisper, breath now also escaping him as the event played over in front of him, the images so real that he was struggling to distinguish the real from the fake. He couldn't breathe, he couldn't think, and as soon as Braydon stopped the car he bolted, slamming the door behind him before sinking to the ground, now unable to move as well. He couldn't do this, and he was stupid for ever thinking he could.

Blake didn't say anything, knees pulled up to his chest, eyes shut tight as his hands pulled at his own hair, unable to shut the memory out of his head no matter how hard he tried. He knew that if he opened his eyes he was just going to end up crying, unable to get the thought that everything was spinning out of control to fade away. Tears stinging his eyes anyway, he finally opened them again to look up at Braydon, wanting to lie and say he fine, but already knowing that he couldn't speak the words even if they were true, breathing showing no signs of slowly as he began to get pins and needles on his fingers. He still didn't speak, just pulled Braydon into a tight hug, not quite sure if Braydon was cold, or if he was just really warm.

Braydon hugged blake back. He ran his hand down Blake's back in an attempt to comfort him. "Count it'll help. " Braydon said. He was just doing the stuff his mom told him to do when he had panic attacks because braydon got panic attacks a lot. He kissed the top of Blake's head.

Blake nodded, burying his head in Braydon's shoulder as he started counting in his head, doing his best to rid the voices in his head that we're telling him that he had no control over what was going to happen and that he was probably going to die. The counting was a good distraction, and his breathing did start to slow down again, even if hi head was still spinning. "I'm so sorry," he whispered quietly, feeling bad for ironing the ride, "I thought I could handle it."

" It's okay. " Braydon said. He sat there with Blake's head buried his shoulder. "It's okay. " He said still rubbing Blake's back. "I'm sorry I should've asked." Braydon said.

Finally calming down enough to think straight, Blake still insisted on waiting a while before speaking, honestly just wanting to make sure he wasn't about to just have another breakdown before speaking. Besides, he was sure Braydon would understand - it's not like he'd never had a panic attack before... If that's even what this was - Blake wouldn't know. Before the accident, he'd never been the one to have problems or need help. His life, for all purposes, was about as average as it could get. He was in no way interesting or special, he was just Blake, and that was the way he liked it. Finally lifting his head, he looked up at Braydon nervously, even bothering to force a small smile as he replied, "it's - it's not your fault. I didn't really think about it until I'd already agreed, and I guess I didn't want to let you down." He shrugged, shrinking into himself slightly as he spoke, mentally scolding himself for being so shitty. He didn't understand why he couldn't just do it, even if the accident hadn't been that long ago.

"If you don't want to do something all he have to do is tell me." Braydon said quietly. "And it's not like that should be an issue I can barely get you to shut up half the time." Braydon said with a teasing smile. He kissed Blake's cheek. "Don't worry about it."
