"But what if it's not?" His words were barely even whispers, admittedly feeling a little too tired to talk, just wishing he could shut his brain off for an hour or so and just fall asleep in Braydon's arms right there and then, even if he was fairly sure it would be kind of against hospital policy. Despite that, he found himself sinking into Braydon slightly anyway, eyes drifting shut as he quietly finished, "I don't want to lose you." They'd always been inseparable, and Blake had always just assumed that that would continue on until they old and probably still arguing about whether Sebastian Stan was worth losing a whole night's sleep over. It never once occurred to him that they both might not make it that long - that one might actually have to live without the other - and yet now it was a very real possibility.

"It'll be fine." Braydon said finally crying a little. "You'll be fine and I'll make sure of that because your mine forever. " Braydon said. Braydon sighed and looked at Blake. "It'll be fine." Braydon said trying to convince himself and Blake.

Blake didn't reply, not knowing what to say or how to say it. He didn't know how to express just how shit he felt right now, somehow managing to ache despite the fact he wasn't moving, and only just starting to even comprehend the fact that he had a brain tumour. His whole life just felt like it was slipping away from him, and he was too exhausted to even try and pull it back. Forcing himself to wake up more, he forced his eyes open again, looking up just in time to see Braydon cry, which somehow managed to make set Blake off too, tears silently trickling down his face he leaned up and pressed a long kiss to Braydon's lips, not quite knowing what to say other than that he was sorry Braydon was stuck with him throughout this, and that if he could change it so Braydon wasn't hurt he would.

Braydon wrapped his arms around Blake more. "I love you." He said not realizing what he had said but he loved Blake long enough to know that he really did. Braydon wiped Blake's tears away with his thumb. "You're gonna get through this okay?" Braydon said. "And I'll love you through everything and I'll be there for you. I won't let you die. I won't." Braydon said. They were both crying messes braydon kissed him softly again.

Blake blinked, staring blankly at Braydon for a minute as he tried to comprehend what he'd just said. He loved him. Well, that was the second shock to the system of the day, although, this one didn't seem like such a horrible thing. Hell, it was actually all kinds of adorable. Small smile spreading across his face, Blake shakily wiped his tears away, forcing himself to stop crying for long enough to reply, "I - I love you too." Lazily, he rested his head back on Braydon's shoulder, deciding he was just a little too tired for kisses, and would much rather just have cuddles instead. Besides, he was fairly positive Braydon wouldn't mind, just as long as they didn't have to go back to that stuffy hospital room with his parents, who were way too overbearing and stressed.

Braydon hugged blake closer and rested his head on top of Blake's. He never wanted to let him go. He wanted to stay with him forever with he could and he'd sure try to if he could bur obviously they couldn't stay there forever. "We left Nate in there." Braydon said with a little laugh.

"I bet he's having a wonderful time with my parents," Blake replied sarcastically, knowing that the atmosphere in the room right now would be nothing but a nauseating mix of morbid and stale, leaving everyone that was still in there nothing but unhappy - not there was that much to actually be happy about, other than the fact that Blake was still alive. Still, part of him hoped Nate had at least had the sense to leave the room, maybe even go back to his own family if he wanted, just as long as he didn't feel stuck in a place with people he didn't know. "Can we go see Mason at some point?" Blake asked quietly, honestly not sure how Braydon would feel about it. Blake would still want to go anyway - Mason and he were actually quite good friends, even when they weren't both high, and Blake was genuinely concerned as to how he was doing. Besides, it wasn't completely his fault that they crashed, and he wasn't about to hold the whole thing against him.

Braydon nodded,"sure." Braydon said. He wanted to just sit there for a moment with Blake, he was honestly afraid that it'd be one of the last moments he got with him like this and in that moment the silence made him feel closer to Blake. He took Blake's hand and held it softly intertwining their fingers together.

Blake was going to say thanks, but quickly decided it against it as a cozy silence fell on the pair of them, Braydon just trying to enjoy the quiet whilst Blake's mind buzzed with questions. How bad was Mason's brain damage? Would either of them need surgery? Could you even have brain surgery when you already had three staples in your head? Would he end up going bald?He wasn't about to ask Braydon any of this, mainly because he was fairly that, not only would he not know the answers, but he'd also only end up getting worried about everything again, and Blake couldn't cope with keeping Braydon calm and trying to stop himself having a breakdown at the same time. Squeezing Braydon's hand as their finger's came together, he tried his best not to have his second borderline breakdown of the day. He couldn't do that to Braydon, not again.

Braydon could sense blake starting to worry again. He unwrapped his arm around Blake. And lifted Blake's head so that he'd look at him. "It's gonna be fine okay? And don't ever hesitate to come to me...ever....I don't care what you think I can handle it okay? I will always be there for you." Braydon said.

Blake looked away from Braydon, burying his head in Braydon's shoulder once again as he tried to figure out exactly how to explain that he didn't quite believe what Braydon was saying. After all, how could he even be sure that everything would be fine? For all he knew, Blake was going to end up dead in a few years, maybe even a few months, and there wasn't actually anything Braydon could do about it, other than hold his hand and lie about how he already knew everything was going to be fine. Still, that was all he could do, right? "I know," he mumbled after a minute or so, honestly not quite sure what more he could say.

Braydon knew that Blake didn't belive him and braydon just felt helpless in this situation. He wanted to help Blake but he didn't know how. He pursed his lips and then stared at the flowers in front of them finding it easier to look at.

"Can we go see Mason?" Blake asked eventually, breaking the silence that had formed between the pair of them. In truth, Blake would've been very happy to just stay sat where they were in silence, admittedly a little worried about the fact that going to see Mason required somehow getting back into the wheelchair, which was sure to come with some sort of ache or pain which he would much rather do without. It was something he was going to have to get used to though, that much was clear. Slowly, he turned to look at Braydon again, sheepish smile painting his lips. He had a feeling Braydon was still convinced the crash was Mason's fault, but Blake wasn't so sure. Besides, if it hadn't happened, they wouldn't have caught the cancer, right? Technically, Mason had saved his life.

Braydon nodded, he stood up and then helped Blake into the wheel chair. Once Blake was in the chair braydon took him to Mason's room. Braydon didn't really want to see Mason but he tried to hide that. He walked into the room with Blake.

Blake tried his best not to complain about the pain as Braydon helped him back into the chair, biting down as hard as he could on his bottom lip to make sure he didn't make involuntary noises to suggest it might hurt at all. He didn't even bother to wind Braydon up as they made their way to Mason's room, knowing he was probably a little unhappy that they were even going. Still, he'd decided to come anyway (despite the fact he clearly didn't like the guy right now), and for that Blake was grateful. He wasn't sure he could face another room full of people on his own. "Uh, hello," Blake said, almost awkwardly, when they arrived, gaze flickering around the room as he tried to figure out whether it was a bad time or not. Instinctively, his hand reached for Braydon's, wanting to let him know that it didn't matter how unhappy he was, Blake was still glad he was there.
