So, it had been a long night of getting high for Mason and Mason had his keys-never a good idea. So when he told Blake he could drive him home they had both gotten in the car as if it were completely normal.
Mason was speeding and by that seventy miles per hour in a twenty-five zone speed limit. So yes Mason was speeding greatly. He was too high to notice the red light and ran in it. His car was going so fast he ran into a car and his own car had flipped over the mirror shaddered and Mason passed out due to hitting his head on the window which also caused his head to bleed but not too badly. His body laying on the staring wheel and minor injuries to his arm. His leg was caught and the seat had broke (which was the thing making his leg caught. Not only that the chair being pushing up against him made it hard to breathe since his chest was also pressed against the wheel. His mind was blank and all he could see was black.

Sophie had been out with her sister... well her adoptive sister, no blood relations there, they were heading home, music blaring as loudly as it could go, grins plastered onto their faces when suddenly Sophie froze, the light was green for them, red for the other car but that car was still moving, "stop!" Sophie screamed but it was too late for her sister to hit the brakes. The speeding car hit Sophie and her sister's vehicle at such a force that all of the wind was knocked out of her. It was impossible to say which part of the car had been hit, everything was spinning.
Sophie had no idea what was happening, that was until the car wrapped itself around a street lamp. The front window shattered, sending a shower of glass raining down on Sophie and her sister, her sister screamed and that was the last sound Sophie heard from her, after that there was just silence. Oh, and blood, lots of blood. Sophie's seat belt had cut into her and the air bag in front of her was smothering her but Sophie couldn't move, all she could hear was the beating of her heart and the lack of a beating heart from her sister. "Help me..." Sophie whispered despite the fact that there was no one there to help.

If Blake was in any way sober, he would've never gotten into a car with Mason Miller. Yes, they were friends and yes, he was Blake's go to guy whenever he was bored and looking for a fix, but did that mean he'd ever trust him with his life within a normal situation? Hell no. He was about as trustworthy as those emails you got telling you you'd won $100,000 but all they needed to give it to you were your bank account details, because that wasn't shady at all. And yet here he was, head practically on the moon as they raced down roads Blake didn't recognise in his questionable state of mind.
And then they went straight into the car, and the trip turned sour.
The car hurtled straight into another before flipping over, or, something like that - Blake wasn't too sure. That was the problem with being maybe slightly very high - he had no idea what was actually going on and what wasn't. It felt real though, the fear, the panic... The pain. The last one was very, very real. His body had flung forward at the contact before swinging backwards again, head cracking against the dashboard and bleeding heavily. His arm was trapped between two pieces of metal, and his foot was... Well, he wasn't sure and he didn't have time to try and figure it out as the whole scene faded to black.

They were on a main road so somebody noticed which was goo well sorta ir meant medics and cops could come quicker so right eine the scene was reported medics were out there.
Mason woke up in a hospital and began freaking out because he didn't remember what happened. His heart was racing and his leg was in a cast. Mason was having a panic attack before one of the nurses came in once they noticed he was awake and calmed him down.

Sophie hadn't wanted to black out but it had happened soon enough, she'd essentially cried herself into. So when she did wake up she woke up with a start, the stark lights of the hospital stunning her and terrifying her all the same. She could feel bruises blossoming across her body, and a deep cut in her shoulder, and maybe her left foot hurt a little too much to simply be bruised but all her brain thought of was Lily. She was alone inside but she could see people, and hear them. "Hello?" Her voice was a croak, more of a plea than anything. Lily hadn't been breathing, hadn't had a beating heart but Sophie still clung to a straw of hope.

How long had it been? Blake didn't like to think. All he knew was that he'd been asleep way too long, and he could tell that without even opening his eyes. He felt stiff, heavy, like he'd just stood up after sitting down for the first time after a long day of exercise, or something equally as exhausting. Exactly how long he lay there, he had no idea. Trying to persuade himself to just fucking open his eyes was the hardest part, knowing that as soon as he did he'd have to face real life, and he'd have to try and piece together exactly what happened before he'd blacked out. Or, at least, he'd have to try and figure out exactly what he'd seen that was real, and what was a figment of his own imagination. Still, he managed to pull his eyes open, blinking a few times as he was flooded with bright lights. It was wrong. Everything felt wrong.
Still blinking, Blake slowly pulled himself up to a sitting position, biting down on his bottom lip as a sharp pain shot through him at the movement - something he hadn't expected. His hands immediately went to the source of the pain, only to find his abdomen wrapped in a tight bandage, his right arm covered by a light green cast. What the fuck? His gaze quickly lifted from his own body to scan the room, silently cursing when he saw that he wasn't alone... Braydon was sat in the corner. Nervously, he coughed (which hurt like hell, so he made a mental note not to do again), and waited for Braydon to wake up - if he was even asleep.

Braydon fell asleep while he was waiting for Blake to wake up after all it was the middle of the night but Blake's coughing woke him up.Â
He quickly stood and went over towards blake. "Hey are you feeling okay?" Braydon asked. He knelt by Blake's bed and crossed his arms and put them on the mattress and looked at Blake.

Preston had been sitting around doing homework when he got the call that Mason had been in a car accident. "Lia! Nate! Get down here!" he shouted upstairs at he pulled his shoes on and grabbed his keys. He drove to the hospital as fast as he could, and he felt like he was going to break down crying at any moment. He and Mason were far from close, but it was moments like these when he realized that he really did care for the kid.
He finally got the nurses to let him and his siblings see Mason, and he went into the room as soon as they'd let him. "Hey," he said to his brother, pursing his lips a little as he looked at all of the machines hooked up to him. For a boy who always acted like he was unbreakable, this was so hard for Preston to look at.

Mason sat there and stared out the window. He didn't bother acknowledging his brothers nor his sister. He had just found out about the girl Lily about how he killed her. He wasn't supposed to but he heard the nurses talking about it. He realized there was something with him when they nurse asked him to spell his name and he couldn't even hold a pencil let alone write his name. He definitely deserved what ever happened and honestly he just hoped that he'd die.

Jasper had already hit boiling point with everything that was going on, just about ready to crack under the pressure for the second time when he got the phone call. It was about Sophie. Of course it was. She was probably one of the only people Jasper wasn't having to work to protect already - the girl always did have a knack for handling herself - and yet now she was in hospital because of some idiot junkie with a driving license. Could life get any worse? Probably, but Jasper wasn't sure he'd be able to cope if it did.
He'd come as soon as he could, and yet the hospital staff had refused to let him in until she was awake on the grounds that he wasn't a relative of her's (apparently basically being siblings since you were four didn't actually count as it wasn't a blood relation, crazy, right?), and so he'd waited in the waiting room until she woke up... Which sure as hell took it's time. Still, he eventually made it to her room, knocking quietly on her door before pushing it open, offering her a small smile before asking, "you okay?" it was a stupid question, really. She'd be physically fine in a few days, maybe a week, he just didn't want her to end up psychologically questionable.

"I imagine I feel about the same as Tom Hiddleston did after he told Chris Hemsworth to actually hit him whilst filming Thor," Blake replied quietly, although his head wasn't really in the mood for MARVEL references. He just felt tired, so tired, and everything seemed to hurt way more than it should. He just ached, everywhere, and had no idea what had really gone on. He'd just about gathered by now that the car crash wasn't just in his head, and so was everything else. Having said that, he couldn't shake the feeling that the whole thing was intentional, and that maybe Mason had wanted to hurt him some way. Maybe he thought he deserved it? Maybe he was pissed off over something Blake had done and just never told him? Blake didn't know, but he was fairly sure the paranoia was down to the drugs he'd been taking. He'd always struggled to shake the negative side effects off, even when completely clean. Slowly, he lifted his arms and reached out towards Braydon, gesturing him to come closer so at least then Blake could hold his hands... Even if one arm was in cast and the other was attached to a drip.

Braydon smiled at Blake glad he was making Marvel references. He took his hand and kissed it gently. "Do you know how this happened? " Braydon asked. The nurses hadn't told him anything and braydon wanted to know what happened.

"I - uhm..." Blake didn't know what to say, knowing that 'I'm not entirely sure what of the accident actually happened and what didn't because I may or may not have been high' definitely wouldn't go down well to Braydon. He had somewhat of an innocent reputation at school - he was the kind of guy you played 'never have I ever' with just so you could actually be surprised when people drank. Drugs were just one of the things he did that people didn't need to know about... Especially not Braydon. Blake honestly wasn't sure what he'd say if he found out, but he had a feeling it wouldn't be particularly happy or encouraging. "I'm not sure," he concluded eventually, frowning slightly as he thought about it, "Mason was driving and then he must've lost control or - or something, because then everything went black. I, uh, I don't know much else, sorry." He shook his head, admittedly feeling a little bad that he couldn't give Braydon any more information than that. He would if he could, but his head was still swimming, unsure of what was actually happening.

"...mason?" Braydon asked he raised an eyebrow at Blake. He knew the kind of kid Mason was drunk and high all the time. Doubts were going on in his mind but he didn't want to tell Blake. He pursed his lips before speaking. "Why would you get in a car with Mason?" Braydon asked quietly.

"Yeah, he and I are friends y'know. I'm like the Wolverine to his Professor X during X Men: Days of the Future Past." Blake offered Braydon a sheepish grin, knowing that he was just making references now just on the off chance that Braydon would get distracted by them and not think any further about Blake's questionable friendship with Mason. It's not like they were particularly good friends either. It was almost like they were friends out of pure mutual interests - ie, drugs. They got on because, as much as Blake hated to admit it, he was a borderline addict when it came to certain drugs, and even getting into a car crash hadn't put him off the idea of them. "But, uh yeah, I may have been high at the time.. Maybe." Braydon had a right to know, he decided. After all, even if Blake didn't tell him, the doctors were bound to report that he had drugs in his system at the time, and Blake would rather Braydon learnt if first hand.
