Iris tried to hold down her laughter this time, but it was a futile attempt as she quickly erupted into a fit of giggles again. She had now decided that one day she had to meet this very British Winston. Brushing back her hair again she shook her head, her laughs finally stopping again "That is amazing" She said, her voice thick with amusement and she tried to imagine the scene of Winston telling bored Jasper about Matt Smith and the London eye, and it just made her grin brightly.

"He also has a limited edition pocket hankie that has been in his family since 1908, don'tcha know?" Jasper continued, the topic of Winston being a seemingly endless when it came to funny moments. Suffice to say, Winston was quite a character and, if he wasn't so ridiculously stereotypical, Jasper would actually be a little disappointed. It was almost as if he was born to be some sort of assistant at a fancy house. Or, at least, that was the only explanation Jasper could think of as to why he decided to do is hair the way he did (Winston was balding, bless him, he just didn't really want everyone to know). "You have to meet him one day," Jasper decided quickly, "he's so funny."

"I was just thinking that. One day i will meet this Winston, even if it kills me" She grinned. She looked around, realising now that they were really close to her house, and that kind of annoyed her even though she'd never admit it. It was nice to actually be talking to Jasper, and it was nice that he was actually treating her like a person instead of something just to entertain himself with until he got bored.

"Oh, meeting Winston definitely won't kill you, I'll have you know he's a very good driver," Jasper replied, biting his lip as he looked around, clearly having very little idea where they were. Sure, he'd driven down the street a few times, maybe, but he didn't really pay attention to the roads they went down, only the ones they ended up at. Besides, it wasn't like he had many friends that lived around here, so what was the point in going? Breaking himself away from his thoughts, he decided to add, "but, then again, most people are good drivers in comparison to me.. Ones that actually manage to keep to the speed limit, anyway."

"I'm very comforted by that knowledge" Iris smiled, going to fiddle with a piece of hair before remembering it was tied up. She tugged it out of the ponytail, letting it fall around her shoulders in messy waves. She pushed it out of her face then went to fiddling with the piece she'd been after before. "Well, you must be better then me, since i haven't even learnt to drive yet" She admitted. She did really want to learn, she just hadn't gotten round to it yet.

"You say that, but you haven't actually seen me drive," Jasper insisted, thinking back to the times where he'd given Winston the day off and managed to total a car in the time it took Winston to polish his Dr Who card collection (it really was that important to him, apparently). In Jasper's defense, he had the attention span of a gnat and, well, traffic lights were clearly just inconvenient - amber just meant speed up, right? Luckily, no one had gotten hurt in the few times he'd decided to play 'fun with bollards', so it wasn't too bad... Just very expensive to replace the cars. "But seriously, Winston is definitely the safer, more reliable option when it comes to driving."

"Well, if i ever need a driver i will make sure to steal him from you" Iris told him, now glancing at the door numbers. Suddenly she came to a stop, pointing at the house she'd stopped in front of "This is my house" She told him with a slightly awkward smile. Now she could actually get rid of him, she didn't actually want to. He was being nice, and she didn't know if that would happen again.

"I'm fairly sure my mother would literally cry if Winston went missing, truth be told-" he began, smirking slightly, "I think my mother is under the impression she and Winston have a thing, and I'm also fairly positive the only thing Winston and my mother share is their romantic interest in the male gender." He managed a grin at Iris then, determined to keep a smile even if he was kind of gutted that the walk was over, and that he probably had to go now. Hell, Iris didn't even have to be nice to him anymore. Still, he'd keep the conversation going, even if he wasn't actually sure how someone could live in such a small space. It wasn't even that small - Jasper just wasn't used to anything but overly spacious and intrusive houses and decoration. "It looks nice. I like the door colour," he managed, nodding to himself as if it would hide the hint of disappointment over her leaving that sounded in his voice.

Iris breathed out a laugh at his last Winston fact. One thing she was now completely sure of 2 things: Winston was an absolute legend that she had to meet, and Jaspers mum may be a bit strange. She smiled at him, wondering if her mum was up yet which was really another way of wondering if she should bother inviting him in. Her mother was a rather eccentric woman, and while she did love her, if Jasper met her she knew it would just be another thing for Jasper to be mean about. She chewed on her lip for a moment before replying with "Thanks. Do you want to see the other side of it? I mean, do you want to come in?" Well, it was safe to say she'd just embarrassed herself.

Jasper just laughed her embarrassing comment off, admittedly a little surprised she was even inviting him inside. Honestly, he'd been expecting her to just endure the walk and then tell him to fuck off as soon as she could, now that she didn't actually have to try and get along with him. Rubbing the back of his head nervously, he glanced down at the floor as her thought for a minute. He may as well, he decided. What could really go wrong, after all? "Sure, if you don't mind, that is."

Iris watched him decided while feeling like she kind of wanted to stab herself for being so dumb, she'd realised a bit too late that he'd probably only been a decent person because he'd won the race. Once he answered she unlocked the door to let him in, despite her doubts. This was Jasper, if he really didn't want to come in her would have said so. She glanced around once she was in too see if there was any signs of her mum yet, but thank god there wasn't. She shut the door behind him and gestured to it "And this is the other side of the door"

“It’s nice – I like it,” Jasper replied, slipping inside and letting her shut the door behind him, looking around at hallway, almost a little surprised. It was quaint, really, but then again most places were to him. “Y’know, I actually can’t think of anything to say that won’t just make me sound like a confused, privileged white boy,” he explained, still looking around, almost in awe of it.

"Well, you are a privileged white boy so whatever. Say what you want" Iris smiled, trying to decide what to do now. She wasn't sure what to do now. She decided to slip into the kitchen and grab a drink since that was probably something they both needed right now. "Drink?" She asked, looking at him from the cups cupboard.

"I would love one," Jasper replied quickly, following her into the kitchen, still taking his time to gaze at the decoration, honestly quite in awe of it all. Sure, it was probably just like very other house, but every other house was a lot different to Jasper's. His parents had both all been horribly rustic minimalists, determined to make every single room in the house like it had never been lived in. Everything always had to be clean and neat and washed, any clutter and unused stuff organised into boxes and shoved in cupboards until they were actually needed. The only things that were really hung on the walls were expensive paintings or 'modern art' made from charred, black metal and stainless steel. It looked like a show house, nothing more. Iris' house, on the other day. Well, it may as well have been wonderland to Jasper.

Iris opened the fridge to look at the small selection of drinks they had in, and found out it was smaller then she first though. "Um. Water or orange juice?" She asked, trailing off as she watched him looking around, a small sense of embarrassment seeping into her mind. Her family didn't like to get rid of things, and tended to place as much as they could on show without looking messy. Family photos were a big thing in this home, and there tended to e at least one in nearly every room. "Sorry about the clutter. My parents are quite sentimental i guess. We don't tend to get rid of much" She explained, filling her glass with water.
