“Well, that’s good.” Jade said, wrapping an arm around her sister’s shoulders as they walked back inside. Pushing open the door, Jade flicked on their kitchen light and knew that it would probably attract about 10 million mosquitoes into the house but frankly she’d been bitten so much already, a couple more bites weren’t going to make much different. Hopping up onto the kitchen counter, Jade tossed a tea towel at Erin just to see her reaction before she began to count up all the mozzie bites she could see/feel.
“Honestly, if I ever get the chance to get rid of one species from earth- I’m choosing mosquitoes.” She had a bite on the back side of her leg which was already itching like bitch and knew that that itching feeling was likely to just get worse.

Erin rested her head on Jade's shoulder as they walked into their house since, much to her dismay, Erin was the shorter twin. Jade got the long sleek limbs, and Erin always felt like she looked like a bit of a gremlin compared to her sister. Still, she sucked it up and tried not to think about it too much. Once they were inside she walked over to the cupboard and got herself a glass, then proceeded to fill it up with water, but as soon as she turned back around to face Jade she got a tea towel thrown at her. "The fuck was that for?" she asked, throwing it back at her twin.
"Same" Erin said. She didn't get bitten nearly as much as her sister, but she still did get bitten every now and again, for example, she could feel the tell tale itch on the back of her arm telling her that she'd been bitten there. "Or maybe wasps. They're dicks too" She added, taking a sip of her drink.

"Don't fucking swear!" Jade responded with a laugh before looking around for another piece of leverage to aim at her sister, only just catching a glint of the tea towel being thrown back at her before it covered her head. "Just like to keep you on your toes." Jade mused whilst idly folding the tea towel back into a square. She definitely wasn't a neat freak, her room would indicate that she was far from it but there were just some things that she felt should be kept tidy when they didn't need to be messy.
"Oh, yeah, wasps are assholes. Maybe you chose wasps and I'll chose mosquitoes." Jade suggested before slipping down from the kitchen counter and hunting for something sweet to eat. Ending up in the freezer, Jade found a half eaten tub of ice cream and was quick to get a spoon to get to work on finishing the rest of the tub. "Then obviously we'll be super popular because we will have gotten rid of two terrible creatures. So, you never know, we could find you a boyfriend that way." Jade teased.

"I'll fucking swear if I want to fucking swear!" Erin laughed. She lived for these moments with Jade, when they could pretend they were two normal teenage girls who just ate pizza and talked about boys. They could pretend they hadn't been trained to be murderers, pretend that werewolves and other supernatural creatures didn't exist and weren't something that were threatening them and their parents at every turn. Erin liked hunting- she liked the thrill of it, liked the community, liked that it was their family legacy, but sometimes she wanted to forget about it and just be normal. That feeling had been amplified recently, ever since she'd found out that Ashton was a wolf. She was terrified there would be a point where Erin and Jade would be forced to fight against their friends, or pick a side. Friends or family? Blood was thicker than water, but didn't that saying stem from the blood of the convent being thicker than the water of the womb? Erin had no idea what she'd do in that situation, and every time she knelt down to pray, it was something she prayed wouldn't happen. She raised an eyebrow at her sister, laughing slightly "I'm always on my toes. I'm fucking tiny" She joked. Erin was actually average sized, thank you very much, she had just managed to befriend giants who made her look tiny compared to them. She'd always been jealous of Jade's figure- she was tall and slender, while Erin was a lot more curvy and short. She'd grown to accept it over the years, but it still bugged her sometimes. Despite the hard demeanour she put out she was still a teenage girl, and she was affected by the media around her.
"Sounds like a plan- we're a dream team" She replied, scooping up the top half of her hair to make a little messy bun on the top of her head. She watched as Jade wondered round the kitchen, wondering what she was doing until she headed to the freezer. Erin smiled, grabbing her own spoon and quickly stealing the tub from her sister, helping herself to a scoop before passing it back "Killing bugs is gonna help me find a boyfriend?" She asked sceptically, putting the spoon into her mouth. Damn, she sure did love ice cream.
