"All right," Louly licked her lips, looking pensive; readying herself for a secret to be spilled. "I never technically graduated. I dropped out. School wasn't my thing. So I can't give any advice," She folded her arms over her chest, a gesture that somehow did not make her come across as unapproachable in the least. "Oh, you can call me Louly." She looked a little antsy; most likely due to the fact neither had really moved to get a drink or pretend to fit in, or at least clarify that they didn't care about "fitting in."

What was the easy way to tell this, was there even an easy way? No, a long story cut short would have to suffice. Rolling back her shoulders to prepare herself for the constant stream of words she was about to peel off, Jamie coughed once before flashing Lottie a grin and beginning. "Well, Rose drunk dialed me begging me to come over and make cookies with her. Thing is, she's a sad drunk so she sounded like a wounded puppy when I began to say no. So, I had to make my way there and deal with her baking cookies when I could have been here." Pausing to shrug and glance around at someone new who had just come in, Jamie continued after a beat. "I got to keep the cookies though; I hid them in your cupboard since I worked hard on them and didn't want someone to come along and inhale them all." Finishing there, Jamie leaned against the wall behind her, running a quick hand through her short red hair; with it being curly, it was easier to keep it short and thereby more manageable.
"How's the party going, have I missed anything?" Jamie doubted that she would have since it was only starting to get interesting with more people drinking now. After the state of Rose earlier, Jamie was sure that she wouldn't drink, or at least not drink much.

"It was a great idea," Ashton chastised, his arm falling to his side as Iris pulled herself away, his other hand wiping at the excess liquor that hadn't quite made it into the cavern behind his lips. His eyes roamed over the girl once, taking in her presence truly for the first time, a contemplative smile on his lips as he concluded, "I mean, if I hadn't you wouldn't be over here having a good time." His teeth flashed in the dim lights in the house as he let a chesire grim spread across his lips. He let his elbow graze her side lightly, a teasing notion as he chuckled, head shaking as he reached out for another cup.
Jensen watched the exchange with a soft smile, glad that Ashton had managed to make at least one friend without screwing it up. Though, his cousin's words did draw a frown to his face, eyebrows creasing as he glanced around the room. Why was Iris hanging out with them? They weren't exactly the highest up on her list of people to 'hang out and drink with at a random party'. He couldn't quell his curiosity, but didn't ask- figuring it had something to do with Jasper being out of town and knowing that was a topic he probably didn't have a right to touch. Mainly because he didn't understand it, but that was beside the point.
Rather, he just let his smile widen as he watched Ashton drink, a bottle of water in his own hand because someone had to be sober- even if it would take quite a bit of booze to knock Ashton off his feet. Guy had a high tolerance for the stuff. "Yeah," he said with a hint of fondness before he shook his head, eyes finding Iris' as he explained, "Sounds about right. The kid doesn't understand personal space for the life of him and can't seem to shut up. Always needs someone there to listen to him," Ashton squinted at him over the rim of his plastic cup as Jensen finished, "And it seems that that day it was your job to listen." He moved just in time to avoid his cousin's waving fist, his knuckles just scraping his arm as he let out a loud laugh.
This was the most lively Jensen had been in ages.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] we're gonna be free WE'RE CHILDREN OF THE BAD REVOLUTION AND PARTYING'S OUR ONLY SOLUTION [attr="class","itokaytext"]Ah, that made more sense. If she had been an adult who'd graduated then turned up at a teenagers party it would have seemed strange, like she thought before, but now she knew that the girl had dropped out and could be a similar age to them it made it much less weird. Still, she was still jealous that Louly had been allowed to drop out, as Erin had been dying to do that for as long as she could remember. She was a fine student and got decent grades and everything, she just hated everything about school. The people, the classes, the work. "Well, you're still lucky" She said with a smile, brushing her hair back away from her face. She let her eyes sway over to Ashton by the drinks again, and inside cursed him purely because he was standing so close to that other girl. She wouldn't give a shit who he spoke to if it wasn't so obvious that her sister liked him. Turning her attention back to Louly she smiled "Well, Louly, i'm Erin. Fancy a drink?" She asked, not really sure why she added on the last bit other then to pretend she hadn't been starring at Ashton.

"Erin," She repeated, surprised by how much a name could suit somebody. It was strong and feminine, and tumbled easily off the tongue; much unlike "Louly," which sounded like the name of either a hick, a trust fund baby, or a winning combination of the two. She merely shrugged in response to the girl calling her lucky, and moved on quickly."Nice t'meet you. And yeah, a drink would be okay." She followed the girl's gaze, and wounded up staring directly at a boy.
As far as boys went, he was an average one, but she understood the appeal of his vibe. "You should go talk to him." She gave a brief, fleeting half-smile and shifted her weight to her other foot.

Ugh, Rose. It was no secret to Jamie, or anyone really, that Lottie didn't like Rose. They'd never jelled, and probably never would, there just seemed to be a permanent dislike and tension between the two girls, so Lottie kept her distance as best she could. So when she heard that Rose had been drunk and sad earlier Lottie honestly couldn't give less of a shit, but was happy that they'd got home made cookies out of it. "So, are you staying over after everyones left?" She asked with a smile, hoping she'd say yes. Taking a sip of her drink as Jamie spoke again Lottie shook her head "No, ones really been here for long. I'm just kinda hoping no one ends up getting too heated though" She said, though the odds of a fight breaking out was very likely. For some reason she felt like Beacon Hills was a particularly angry place, and something would end up happening. Words: 160 || Notes: xxx

| "Well, i do know Jensen, so i could have come over even if i didn't know you" Iris retorted, raising an eyebrow at him and smirking slightly. She took another drink from her cup and watched Jensen's eyes roam around the room, half wondering if he was questioning why she was talking to them and not any of her usual friends, but she didn't want to give an answer in case he wasn't actually thinking that and she just came off as a bit stuck up. She did note the two girls in the corner though, one blonde and one brunette. The brunette one seemed to be giving the little group a dirty look while the blonde was obviously just seeing what was going on. She didn't know what they'd done, but assumed it must be something to do with Ashton, as Iris had never seen either of the girls before and Jensen didn't seem like the kinda person to get dirty looks from girls. Turning her attention back to the two guys with her she smiled, listening to what Jensen was telling her about Ashton "Yeah, i think it was" She said with a laugh. Taking a drink, she noticed that Jensen only had a bottle of water in his hand, so she looked at him questioningly "Aren't you gonna drink?" She asked. WORDS: 224 |

"Are you asking that because you want some of those cookies?" Jamie challenged although she was laughing, "I can stay if you want me to especially since I think it's going to rain and I don't want to walk home in a down pour." Being a kitsune had it's benefits, particularly since Jamie seemed to be able to some degree, control water and also know when it was around; she could sense it in the clouds, like a feeling constantly lingering on her shoulders, tempting her to move it. The problem with being a kitsune was that Jamie didn't know how much she could use her power (if you could call if that) before going overboard and having it control her. The idea of drowning was one that woke her up at night frequently.
Jamie nodded along to what Lottie was saying, it tended to take a little while for the alcohol to take control of people. "Well then, I'm glad I didn't miss anyone kissing someone they're going to regret kissing." A grin on her lips, Jamie eyed a girl as she walked past, she was practically in her underwear. "She'll catch a chill walking around like that," she really could sound like a grandma if she tried.

Ashton just simply scoffed at her first remark, rolling his eyes and exclaiming, “No, no, no, honey. Jensen wouldn’t even be here if not for me. The kid wanted to sit at home and marathon scary movies and force me to hold his hand while he peed because he’d get so scared- the little wimp.” He sent a wink towards his cousin, and Jensen simply replied with a raised middle finger and a scowl- it wasn’t really necessary for Ashton to reach those kind of depths of sarcasm and crudeness, but then again, if he didn’t, then he wouldn’t be Ashton. “So your world kind of does revolve around me, don’t it?” He sent a grin her way, oozing at the seams of his lips with charm and just a hint of teasing gleaming in his darkened irises- booze had a way of changing his eye color. The weirdest of things, but like everything else the liquor made him do, his eyes just got darker- but with no less life, he reeked of that.
His arm once again wiggled its way over her shoulders, pulling her close, but not enough that their sides were brushing- and if he maybe only did it because he caught Erin glaring at him from the corner of his eye and wanted to piss her off just a tad more, than who has to know? The touch was by all means friendly, if only tinted by a hint of drunken clumsiness.
Jensen couldn’t help but glare at his cousin’s shenanigans, though the smile was still tight on his lips, as it often was in occasions like this. The party wore on him, breaking down his usually stern demeanor into something softer. His attention was drawn off of the bottle he was holding, fingers stopping their assault on the paper around its circumference as Iris addressed him once more, his gaze snapping up as he fell out of his thoughts and into the present. A small, admittedly a tad shy, smirk crossed his lips as he shook his head, “Nah, not right now anyways,” he sent a pointed look towards Ashton, hand waving in the boy’s general direction as he finished, “Someone’s got to be sober enough to make sure he doesn’t do something stupid,” because he would, that was almost definite, “But later, probably.” It wasn’t that he was prude, because he was sure know to chug down a few beers from time to time, but with the vibe he was getting from the women at the party? Yeah, it was probably best if he had his wits about him to keep the kid out of trouble.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] we're gonna be free WE'RE CHILDREN OF THE BAD REVOLUTION AND PARTYING'S OUR ONLY SOLUTION [attr="class","itokaytext"]AErin grimaced slightly at the thought of going over and talking to Ashton, and shook her head at the suggestion "No, he's a dick, but i think my sister likes him" She said by way of explanation. She offered a half smile back to Louly, then tugged up her jeans and brought up the drinks idea again because, really, it was kinda warm in the house with so many other people and she could do with a drink. "So, drinks, yeah?" She said with a smile, before heading over to where they were situated, since she had already agreed to the idea. She walked straight pasted Ashton, and the 2 people he was with without so much as a hello and then decided what she was going to drink. It was between mixing her own vodka and coke or just having a beer can, and in the end she just picked up the can because, to be honest, she was too lazy for the other option. Cracking the can open she watched a little bit of the liquid spill over the side before taking a long drink, then looked back to Louly with a smile.

Louly strolled over, eyeing Ashton with that very girlishly curious expression one wore when their friend pointed someone out to them; equal parts curiosity and judgement. She, unlike Erin, decided she wanted to take the leaping bound from stone sober to moderately tipsy. "He looks like a dick," She agreed, lip jutted slightly. Her mouth curled into a grin. "Well, like, why don't y' make him notice you?" She flicked her brows. "I know a couple ways to make that happen."

Given the lack of greeting and the cruel side-eyes he was receiving, Ashton took it that Erin was thoroughly pissed- or at least extremely displeased with his actions. He figured this may backfire, with the fact he was aiming to wiggle his way into Jade’s heart and all, but this was worth it. It wasn’t like he planned to actually do anything with Iris, not that the idea wasn’t tempting or anything (because it was, she’s hot) but more so that it wouldn’t slide with her. She seemed like a big fish in the little pond of Beacon Hills- though he wasn’t sure just how big yet, the vibes she sent rang with a certain clarity ‘spoken for’. After so many times, one learns not to eat out of another’s bowl- not much fun dealing with the aftermath.
Ashton really did try his best (honestly, maybe) to not say anything, to keep his attention firm on the conversation going on between his cousin and the girl under his arm, but as the words flowing in between the bratty twin and the no-named blonde grew louder as they lingered at the table just behind him, well, he couldn’t stop himself- especially after blondie so endearingly called him a dick; probably under Erin’s influence. Keeping his arm a deadweight on Iris’ shoulder, he threw a knowing, and admittedly cocky, look at the two as he purred, “Y’all ladies just going to keep talking about dicks to yourselves or?” He ended his question with a jerk of his head towards the rest of the group- not minding much that they were most likely bashing on him, but more so that they felt the need to do it behind his back. Words were just words, he didn’t really care what they had to say- but knew that inviting Erin to join him here may get his foot in the door with Jade.

| Iris laughed at Jensen's remark about someone having to look after Ashton, and nodded along. He seemed like the kind of guy who would drink to many and start a fight, or try and fuck half the girls there, or both. Probably best that Jensen did stay sober for now, especially because it seemed Iris was going to be spending most of her night with them and she was already feeling a little tipsy. Iris didn't drink much, only at the few parties she was invited too, so she wasn't really used to drinking, which meant when she did it didn't take much to get her drunk. "Well, i will look forward to that" She replied with a smile, finishing her drink again. She was about to think of something else to say, when the two girls she'd seen from the other side of the room walked towards them, then pass them, with a cold look in their eyes. She had absolutely no idea what had been done to earn the glares from the girls, but she still guessed it was something to do with Ashton. She looked away from the girls as they settled at the other side of the table and instead looked at Jensen, giving him a confused look, as if he might know what was going on here. Suddenly Ashton was talking back to the girls, which Iris found both odd and confusing, as she couldn't hear what they'd been talking about, while apparently he could, but at least it did give her some kind of answer- at least one of them had something to do with Ashton. Louly had quite a bit of experience with men - not in the most pleasing way, either. Among her group of hunters, she saw few other females, and the ones she did see fell short in the friendliness department. She managed a tiny, serpent-like smirk. "I'm gonna need another drink first," She excused her self, the tone she picked up somber and smooth enough to shake off the aloofness of her words. The last thing she wanted to do was interfere.
She nudged Erin gently with her arm as she passed by, the gesture half apologetic and half amused. Her shoulders shook with laughter that was drowned out by the music on her way toward the drink table. She downed the diluted rum like a shot on her way.
She wouldn't be needing much more alcohol.

U"Maybe" Lottie said cheekily, dragging out the 'a' to add to the cheeky nature of the word she was saying. She took a drink before adding to her sentence with a shrug "It'll probably be really dark by the time everyones leaving, so if you didn't want to go home in the dark you can stay" It was already pretty dark out, since it was winter and it did tend to get darker earlier in winter. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Jamie's rain comment "Can't you, like, just not make it do that?" She asked, since she was a water kitsune and it made sense that she would be able to stop it raining. Or, at least it made sense in Lottie's slightly tipsy mind. "Don't worry, i'm sure there's plenty of that to happen later" She said with a little grin, before turning her attention to the girl Jamie was looking at. It reminded her of almost this time last year, when they were at Lia's halloween party judging peoples outfits. "Well, maybe she likes being ill. You never know" Words: 184 || Notes: xxx
