Vic nodded in response. "I see that now," she said with a sigh. "Too bad it took me this long to see it." The truth was, if Abby showed up right then and offered to be with her, she'd say yes without a second thought. But Abby wasn't going to do that, and that's why Vic was so angry. Abby wanted her to change for her, and that wasn't fair. Vic never tried to change Abby, so she hoped that Abby would give her the same respect.

"Maybe you can find another girl?" Ellie suggested. She didn't know of any gays here-well lesbians. It seem Beacon Hills had a few gay people-they just weren't girls. Ellie would've hooked her up with a girl if she knew any.

Vic shrugged. "If I do, it probably won't be here. But I think I'll stick around for a while. I've got a pretty good setup here, you know? A job and an apartment and all that." The real reason Vic was staying wasn't one she could share with a perfect stranger, but she liked this girl. She'd be okay with becoming friends with her. Vic didn't normally do friends, but she couldn't get by being completely alone, could she?

"I used to live in the city, New York actually, but somehow I found my way back here," Ellie wasn't sure why she was dumping her life story on a stranger. "I wanna go back, but there's so much going on here. I don't think I'm going back for awhile," Ellie said with a shurg. She thought about going back countless times, but somehow Ellie managed to get herself wrapped up in supernatural stuff.

Vic raised an eyebrow. "So much going on here?" she asked with a chuckle. "Compared to a city like New York, I'd figure this place would feel as dead as roadkill." Vic didn't like the whole small town life, but she wasn't going to leave when the place was practically infested with werewolves. How the hunters in this town hadn't already killed the lot of them, Vic didn't understand, but she wasn't going to let that game stay in play for much longer.

"I guess when you grow up here you just find out more secrets, and those become interesting," Ellie said with a shrug. Even when drunk she wasn't going to mention werewolves. She wasn't that stupid. She wished that she could tell Vic more, but she didn't know if she could trust the other. She just met the girl.

Well, now she was interested. Did this girl know about werewolves? Or were there more secrets in this town? "Now I'm intrigued," she said with a smile. "I mean, I've only come across a few so far, but they're pretty interesting. But they still don't outweigh the amount of completely dull and uninteresting people in this place." Vic didn't think that Ellie would really tell her anything, but she could sure as hell try.

"Can't really tell my secrets. I'm sworn to secrecy," Ellie said with a giggle. "Even if you're really cool I can't tell you," Ellie said with another giggle. "What kind of secrets does a girl like you know?" Ellie asked. By a girl like you, she meant a girl who just moved here.

Vic shrugged as she tried to think of a super vague way to hint about what she knew. "Well, there's an awful lot of animal attacks around here, huh?" she said completely casually. "I mean, you'd think someone would have taken care of that by now, right?" If Ellie had no idea what she was talking about, then Vic could safely assume that she didn't know anything, or that she was too drunk to be of any use to her. But if she did...well then things could get interesting.

Ellie didn't a good job at concealing her shock. "Yeah, we've been warned not to go into the forests." Ellie said. So the girl knew about werewolves. "What do you think we should do about these animal attacks?" Ellie asked. She figured the girl figured out Ellie knew by now. It was like a code amongst people who knew. Animal attacks didn't typically happen, unless werewolves were involved. Now, she wanted to know if the girl was a hunter or a wolf. She looked over at her, Vic had her full attention.

Vic couldn't figure out if the girl was actually oblivious or if she was just trying to seem that way. "I mean, they need to get rid of the damn animal that keeps doing it, I guess. Or animals. I mean, sure, you could give me all that bullshit that animal lives matter, but I'd rather have my friends and family alive than some animal, you know?" If that wasn't blunt enough, Vic didn't know what was. Was this girl a hunter though? That could be fun. Vic needed a new partner in crime. Or maybe she was a wolf. If that was the case, this situation would get pretty awkward pretty fast.

"But these animals also have family, Ellie said. She instantly knew the girl was a hunter. "It's okay just to kill them off, because you think you're superior?" Ellie asked. Ellie hasn't met any hunters but she had done a ton of research on them. She did a ton of research on everything supernatural. "I guess I'm all for saving the animals," Ellie said. "I know if one of my animals were killed I'd want to hunt down whoever did it," it was an Ellie threaten. Pretty much it was a threat that wasn't an actual threat, but Ellie meant it as a threat.

Vic nodded, raising a sarcastic eyebrow. "Yeah and if one of my family members was killed, I'd want whatever...or whoever did it to be dead," she said. She didn't understand the girl's logic, but it was very clear that they weren't talking about animal attacks anymore. "I don't think I'm superior to anyone, but if someone thinks it's okay to kill someone innocent, then I don't think they should be able to live. If you let a murderer live, they're just going to continue to murder innocent people." Vic had been in this debate with Abby too many times to count, but it was always useless. No one was every willing to change their opinion.

"I know lots of people who've never done it again," we'll she only knew 2, and that was only because Blake told her. It's not like she knew many werewolves anyway. All she knew was that this girl was going to stir up more than she'd like. She stood up,"but doesn't that make you a murderer too?" Ellie asked. She walked away before the girl could say anything. She was done with this conversation. She was ready to call a cab, and then go to sleep when she got home.

Vic rolled her eyes. "Yet," she said. "And if they weren't diseased, then would it be considered okay to kill innocent people?" When Ellie walked away, Vic considered going after her. But then she decided that it wasn't worth it. The girl obviously wasn't a werewolf, and she wasn't going to be of any use to her now, so there was no point.
