EIGHTEEN HUMAN HETEROFLEXIBLE INTROVERT TEMPLATE BY HAYANA OF CAUTION 2.0 I’M COMING HOME LET THE RAIN WASH AWAY ALL THE PAIN OF YESTERDAY A scream pierced the air of the Karson house that afternoon, and that scream marked the end of the normalcy of eight year old Liv Karson’s life. As her feet padded down the stairs quickly, all she saw was someone, Liv couldn’t get a clear enough glance to tell if it was a man or a women, running out of her front door, leaving it with a slam. Confused and frightened, Liv ran about her house until she finally found her sixteen year old babysitter lying on the kitchen floor in a puddle of her own blood. By then, it was too late. She was long gone. But Liv rushed over to her anyhow before running outside and screeching at the top of her lungs, hoping someone might hear her. Eventually her neighbors all came outside, one couple following her inside the house and promptly calling 911. The next few weeks were the ones that changed Liv’s life forever. There was seemingly no trace of anyone else being in the house that day, nor were there any witnesses that saw whoever it was that killed the girl. The murder was pinned on Liv, but at the time Liv did not understand at all what was going on. Her parents had convinced her that it really was her who had committed the murder, and when it came time for her to speak with the police, she confessed. It was decided that she would be sent to a psychiatric hospital, and if she was considered healthy, she would be in jail until at least her eighteenth birthday. Prison changed Liv. Being the youngest girl in a juvenile prison wasn’t easy, and Liv never actually learned how to deal with it. She was always a quiet and shy little girl, but she was thrown into a situation where she had to fend for herself. Her parents never visited her. Not once. The strength to fit in never developed in her, and she fell apart. Her broken soul because withdrawn and nervous. She would go for days without speaking at all, and her mental state became questionable at best. As the years went by, all she could think about was the day that she would be able to return to her old life, but she never realized that it would never be possible for her to do so. The day that she was released, the media swarmed to her like moths to a flame, and Liv wasn’t able to leave her house for days after she returned home. Her parents refused to speak with her, only speaking up to say that she has a month to find somewhere else to live. When she tried to explain that she was innocent all along, she was rejected. It didn’t occur to her that everyone would now see her as a brutal murderer, and no one would be happy to have her back home. The only way to return to her life was to prove that she was truly innocent. She had to find who really committed the murder, and she wouldn’t stop until she found them. But she has no idea what it is that she’s really looking for, or how deep the story of what ruined her entire life really runs. |
