Erik had just served his detention and was now on his way home. He didn't tell kai about the fight snd honestly he wasn't planning on telling him. Kai would probably yell at him and get mad and shit erk just didn't really want to deal with. He was already in a shitastic mood because he got a call from work telling him he wasn't working this week. That meant that he wasn't going to get paid which meant he couldn't do the stuff he wanted. It also meant he'd have to tell Kai that he'd probably be a little late on paying for some of the rent. That was also something he didn't want to do.
Erik had insisted that he pay some of the bills. That's why he got the job in the first place. Showing he wasn't independent made him mad. He refused to acknowledge that he was actually a teenager. He liked to think he was an adult. He thought of himself as an adult more than a teenager. He paid his own bills, bought his own foos, drove his own car. Erik didn't like to think he was the age he was. He wanted his own rules and doing his own things.
He got home and walked inside. He didn't really want to be home. He knew the school had probably called Kai. He knew kai would probably yell at him bit Erik didn't Care anymore. He wasn't in the mood to deal with anything at all. He walked in and put his bag down. He then tried to find Kai. He finally found him. "Hey I can pay rent this week I'll have it to you next week," Erik said. He then quickly walked out in an attempt to ignore an angry Kai.

The day had been pretty boring for Kai, as he hadn't had anything to do or anywhere to be, so he spent the whole day in his room reading. That was, of course, until he got a call from Erik's school to say that he had been in a fight. Kai hated whenever Erik got in trouble because he never knew hwo to deal with it. The boy needed some sort of parental figure in his life, and Kai was the only person that was there to do it anymore. But managing to find a balance between being a boyfriend and a parent wasn't exactly an easy thing to do.
When Erik got home, Kai sighed and leaned his head against the wall behind his head. "I've told you a million times, you don't need to pay rent," he called out after him, laughing slightly. It wasn't like either of them actually needed to work at all. Kai's family was wealthy enough that they wouldn't ever need to work, but Kai admired the fact that Erik was taking some initiative. "Oh, and I got a call from the school today. Wanna tell me what that was about?" Kai tried not to be mad, but he couldn't help it.

Of course Kai would want to talk about it. Erik didn't want to talk about it at all. It would just be pointless anyway. Erik went back into Kai's room. "Not really," Erik said. He then went right back toward his room.
Erik knew that Kai was gonna try to be a parent figure but he wasn't. He was Erik's boyfriend not his parent. He didn't need to be bossed sr I understand. He 2as fine just the way he was. So what he started a fight? It was just a fight, ut wasn't that big of a deal. He plopped himself down on his bed. He thought taht maybe if he walked away Kai wouldn't lecture him.

"I'm not going to lecture you about staying out of trouble, I just want to know what happened," he said. Kai wasn't actually all that concerned with the fact that Erik got in trouble at school. What he was concerned about was the fact that Erik got in a fight with another werewolf from another pack. There was enough going against their pack without their leader getting into fights with other werewolves. This was about politics, not Erik. "You can't just go around fighting other werewolves, Erik. It's not safe. For you or for anyone else." This wasn't going to go well. He could feel it.

Erik could already feel his blood boiling. It wasn't a good time for a lecture because he was just already pissed off. He didn't kai telling him that he did something wrong again. He knew Kai wouldn't like the reason anyway. Liam just annoyed him and he was in a bad mood. Well, if that's what he wanted then he'd get the actually reason.
"I was pissed and I wanted to fight and Liam was already annoying," Erik said. He glared at Kai. "Now are you gonna continue lecturing me because last I checked you're not my parent," Erik spat out. What he really wanted was to just cuddle with kai and fall asleep. He wouldn't tell kai that thiugh because kai wanted to be the one getting cuddled not cuddling someone 3lse. There wasn't ever a time Erik ever bottomed besides with cuddling. Even then he never liked to admit that he wanted to cuddle. He was obviously too manly for that.

Yeah, because you killed yours. That's what Kai wanted to say, but he remembered that he had promised to stop bringing up his father's death with Erik. "And last I checked, you're an alpha," he said. "You might want to start acting like it." Kai then stood up and walked into the bathroom just because he didn't want to talk to Erik about this right now. Kai didn't deny the fact that he wished Erik wasn't the alpha. He did a horrible job at it, and Kai felt like he was constantly having to keep him out of trouble. But someone had to do it and no one else was stupid enough to care about Erik the way Kai did.
He never understood how the boy could be so immature and impulsive, and then on top of that he was so self righteous that no one could ever get through to him. Why did he love him so much? He'd never truly understand it, but he couldn't help it either.

Erik growled at Kai. He didn't want to be alpha anymore either way. It was too much work and he was tired of it. He didn't think he could get rid of it though, besides someone murdering him 2hich wasn't going to happen. He didn't like the fact that he always had to watch his every move and be so perfect. He just wanted to fuck shit up and do his own thing.
"I DON'T EVEN WANT TO BE ALPHA!" Erik yelled. Sure when he first killed Kai's did half of it was about being an alpha but now erik didn't even want to be one. He just knew it'd piss kai off if he said that because it was part of the reaso n his dad was dead. Erik wasn't a leader person. He liked being on his own and doing his own thing. Erik just knee in a werewolf sense he'd never survive if he became an omega.

Kai's anger only worsened when Erik said that he didn't want to be alpha. "WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE YOU KILLED MY DAD!" he said. Sure, they had agreed not to mention that event anymore, but Kai couldn't stop himself now. Erik had been so impulsive that he had killed the man who cared enough to raise him when he had no one else, and now he just wanted to throw all of that away. Kai locked the door to the bathroom and just sat down on the floor, leacing his back against the wall and trying to calm himself down. Tears eventually began rolling down his face and he just wanted to leave. He didn't want to see Erik and he wasn't sure if he would ever stop being angry at him.

Eventually erik just left Kai's room. He went into his own room and strand to do his homework but he couldn't concentrate. He closed the textbook and just stared up at his walls for a hour. His mind going wild thinking of everything stupid he had ever done.
Eventually, he got hungry. He stood up and went to go make something. He got distracted by Kai's door which was still open which meant Kai was still in the bathroom. Sure enough Erik could hear him. If it had been Ari or anyone else Erik wouldn't have walked up to the bathroom door but this was kai. The only person who actually believed that maybe he wasn't that crazy and showed someone could actually unconditionally care. He knocked on the door. "Hey..um Kai are you - are you hungry?" Erik asked nervously. He was already mad at himself for getting nervous. It was just Kai but for once Erik actually felt really bad.
