It was another terrible night. Braydon didn't know what to think. His dad apparently knew he was gonna die, he even had a will. In his will he left money for conversion thearpy. It was nice to know his dad cared so much about him. Braydon's mom shook her head and didn't say anything as her son walked out the door. Braydon just need to go somewhere. He didn't need to be reminded of how much his dad hated him and how much his dad thought he was a disgrace. He needed somewhere to go. He just needed a hug or someone to talk to and just cuddle. Braydon was in desperate need of cuddling. He was in need way more than normal. He couldn't stay home not with his mom and his sister who were clearly missing his dad. He wasnt even a good man. He didn't get why they missed him.
Braydon's feet led him to Blake's house. It wasnt too late but it wasnt too early. Not to mention it was a school night. Stil, Blake's mom let him in. Braydon was like family to Blake's family. After all, they had been friends for a long time. Blake was always welcome at his house and Braydon was always welcome at Blake's. Ellie said,"hi," to Braydon but Braydon only smiled back. He was on the verge of years but he hasn't cried yet but he knew right when he saw Blake that he would start crying.
Braydon opened the door and saw Blake on his laptop. That was Blake's natural habitat. Blake didn't even seem to notice Braydon walking in. He laid down on the bed and cuddled against Blake. He laid his head against Blake's chest. Suddenly, he just started to cry. Blake didn't even know what was going on. Braydon didn't feel like explaining right now. Braydon had done this enough times for Blake to understand that something bad was going on. Braydon hated how emotional he was, it wasnt fair. Why couldn't he be a normal person? Why couldn't he stop feeling? Why couldn't he not be gay? Is whole life wasnt normal. If he found out what Blake actually was Braydon would probably lose it.
Braydon felt like all his problems would be solved if he just wasnt gay. He was bullied for it and his dad left his family. Here his family was crying over their dead dad but Braydon was crying over the fact that his dad couldn't accept him.

It'd been just another evening in the Wilde household. Blake had gotten end a little bit too late from school for his parents to be happy about it, Ellie was still lounging around the house, probably trying to think of excuses not to return to college just yet - like, what if Blake relapses really badly? What if Blake isn't actually better and the scanner they used to check was just broken? For some reason, she was determined that Blake needed her here in Beacon Hills, even if the teen honestly couldn't wait for her to leave... It's not that they didn't get on, it's just that when there was one more person in the house, it made it so much harder to get moments alone with Braydon, and the guy didn't seem to be doing so well as of late. After everything that had happened, they'd pulled through and neither of them were dying any time soon, and yet Braydon wasn't any happier with his life. But, that was just the way the cookie crumbled sometimes, and Blake didn't mind picking him back up again every time he was down.
What he hadn't expected was for Braydon to turn up out of the blue in his bedroom, even if he did hear his sister talking to him out on the landing, and the conversation only lasted a word anyway. Almost throwing his laptop to the floor (it was old, he could buy a new one anyway), he pulled Braydon into arms with a certain amount of ease, fingers running around his tummy and drawing absent circles as he cradled Braydon's head gently, even bothering to press a lightly kiss against his hair. He didn't say anything, knowing waiting for Braydon to say something usually worked out better than asking what was wrong, because any kind of words usually just ended in Braydon letting even more tears loose, and that was the last thing Blake wanted. Silently, he waited for the boy to say something, not even caring if it took all night to cheer the boy back up agai.

It took awhile, it took a good ten minuets for Braydon to actually start to calm down. It wasnt like Braydon meant to take that long. It was just everytime he went to go say what happened he'd start crying. Braydon didn't move he just laid there for a moment. Suddenly, he was very aware that he just soaked Blake's shirt and how much of an idiot he must look like. Then he felt sorta good because Blake didn't call him annoying or push him off, then he felt kind of bad because he was being a burden. Braydon took a deep, shaky breath and then finally spoke.
"My dad," he felt himself wanting to cry again but he willed himself not to. He was determined to finally get the damn sentence out. "Left his will, and in his life he left money for Taylor and I," Braydon wanted to punch himself because he just ended up pausing again. "Instead of money for college like Taylor got, he left money for my mom to send me to conversion thearpy," Braydon barely got the words out. He wasnt crying as badly but silent tears began to roll down his cheeks. What if his mom actually sent him?

Exactly how long it took for Braydon to talk, Blake didn't actually know. Months ago, he probably would've lost concentration by now, mind buzzing to other things like just how close it was until the next Avengers film came out, or just how much he really did not want Ant Man to become a movie (seriously, Ant Man - why?). But, I guess you could say almost dying had had a maturing effect on him, because right now all he could really think about was helping Braydon through this, even if he ended up lying there with him until five in the morning. He’d do anything if it’d just make Braydon happy, although there didn’t seem to be a lot that did that at the moment.
And then he spoke, sentence finally escaping his lips as he sobbed uncontrollably, Blake’s ears ringing as he tried to figure out what he was supposed to say now. It’s not like he could stop his mum deciding to go through with it, and it’s definitely not like he had any kind of authority to change what it said in his dad’s will. There wasn’t a lot he could do, other than hug him tightly and tell him it would be okay, even if he had no proof that that was true.
“You know she won’t do that,” Blake replied quietly, feeling like he knew his mother well enough to realise that. It’d almost always been his dad that had been the problem, he found - the church ideals embedded in convinced that his son was somehow impure, just because he would rather have a man than a woman. Carefully, Blake wiped away the tears rolling down Braydon’s cheeks with his thumb, pressing a light kiss against the top of his head.

Braydon sighed and shook his head. "That's not - I don't think she would but he - that's my dad," Braydon said quietly. He looked over at Blake. "They're crying over him. I couldn't stay in the house, " Braydon said quietly.
Braydon felt horrible for heat he put his family through. He felt like that was the whole reason his dad left. Who's else fault was it? He could tell his mom sometimes looked at braydon sadly because she knew that's why his dad left. He didn't think it would be an issue when he came out. Part of him wished it didn't happen.

((When you confuse Liam's dad with Braydon's dad and have a nightmare that you're too lazy too correct soz bby))
Blake wasn't actually sure what Braydon wanted from him, because he didn't actually feel like there was anything he could really say if he'd already decided his mum wasn't going to do it. But, then again, what did Blake really know about Braydon's relationship with his father? There wasn't a lot he really did know, the more he thought about it - just that the guy was kind of a douche on drugs that skipped out on the entire family at some point or another. No one really knew why, although it didn't take a genius to realise Braydon blamed it on himself... He always did find some way to feel irrationally guilty.
"That's okay, it's not like it's you fault left," there was a pause, Blake pulling thoughts together in his head as he tried to figure out how to actually help Braydon right now, especially since he didn't actually know how it felt, and had definitely never gone through a situation even remotely similar - hell, Blake still wasn't officially 'out' to his parents yet, but they must've been blind not to realise what was going on by now, even if neither of them had mentioned it yet.. "You chose to leave because he was a twat that couldn't handle commitment - because the only thing he could probably ever love is the thrill of the high - not because you were gay. It wasn't you that drove him away, Braydon, it was himself." Blake was chatting shit, he knew that, because how was he supposed to know that was why Braydon's dad actually left? Still, there wasn't much more he could say without repeating himself, so he just cuddled Braydon gently, not quite sure what else he was supposed to do.

Braydon just shook his head. It was pointless to really talk about. So, he just kind of laid there. He was almost ready to fall asleep. He felt really exhausted. Crying typically did that to a person. He didn't go to sleep yet because he wanted to hang out with Blake just a bit.
Braydon looked over at Blake. "Can I stay here tonight?" Braydon asked. He didn't really want to go home and he was typically welcomed Here. He didn't think that it'd be a big deal.

"Sure." Blake didn't really have to even think about the question much - Braydon stopped over so often that his parents literally just assumed that if he came over, he was practically here for the long haul. Really, it was shocking that at least one of them hadn't asked about the whole 'friend or boyfriend' scenario. He didn't complain, anyway, because it meant he got to spend more time with Braydon, and no eyebrows ever got raised. Slowly, he offered Braydon a warm smile, not quite sure what else he was supposed to say, honestly just glad that there was someone there with him. Yes, maybe the only reason that Braydon was here was because it was Braydon that was having all the problems - Blake's problems vanishing about as easily as his cancer did after Erik's intervention - but it was nice to have something familiar with him, even just for a while. After all, his life had practically been turned upside down, and yet Braydon somehow managed to stay the same throughout. It was comforting, and he honestly couldn't ask for anything more.

Out of nowhere Braydon just stood up. He didn't tell Blake what he was doing. He went over to the door and locked it- normally when he locked it, it meant he wanted he wanted sex. He didn't want sex though. He just wanted to get really drunk. Normally, he was completely against drinking. He didn't belief that people should get drunk a lot. It wasnt as be as getting high but it wasnt something he did regularly. At the moment, he just felt stressed. He'd do anything right now to break this stress-y feeling (including cutting which he really didn't want to do) and at the moment he decide drinking woul be a good idea. After all, Blake had a stash of alcohol hidden in the way back of his closest. It was convient just to drink. Although, Braydon being the kind of drunk he is it'll probably lead to sex anyone. Hopefully, he can be really quiet.
Braydon then made his way to the back of Blake's closest (his parents never dared to go in his closet). He was trying to find the alcohol but it was impossible. He kept throwing random things out of the closet; making a bigger mess than there already was. Until, he found something strange. It wasnt the alcohol but it was a big thing of chains. Why the hell does he have these? Braydon thought to himself. He didn't think Blake was into that stuff and where the hell did he even get them? Braydon knew that he'd probably lie to him. He picked them up and looked over at Blske. "Why the hell do you have chains?" Braydon asked, not really in a mean way- Braydon could never be mean to Blake. It was more in a WTF did I just walk into type way. Which was exactly how Braydon was feeling.

Blake wasn't all that bothered when Braydon went over to lock the door; it's not like they'd not had to do that before during cozy times in the past, partly because blake was paranoid his parents would walk in, and partly because he just knew that Ellie was likely to pull that 'older sister' shit and check in on them in the middle, just to make sure they physically couldn't be doing anything questionable. Gah. Sisters. Couldn't live with them, couldn't trust them to not walk in on you whilst having sex.
Watching Braydon lazily, he didn't even think about it when the kid went over to his closet, rifling through shirts and jeans and other questionable clothing items (like the Michael Jackson knitted sweater his Aunt had given him for Christmas that he'd never worn), until suddenly stopping, clearly unhappy with what he'd found... Or what he'd not. And then Blake remembered, heart beat sky rocketing as he tried to think of a valid reason as to why he could possibly have chains in his room, because clearly he was just that kinky of a guy. He couldn't really say they were for sex, could he? At what point would Braydon brand that just a little bit too weird for him to handle? Uh. Well shit. Sitting up properly, he struggled to find words, biting his lip nervously before finally stringing a sentence together, words slipping out of his mouth before he'd even thought the lie out properly.
"I stole them from the Gold's basement."

Braydon just stared at Blake for a moment. Why was he even at Jasper's house. He glanced over at the chains. This was wrong on so many levels. He really should not have chains here. "Why were you in his basement? " Braydon asked. Foestboff, even if Braydon knew about werewolves it wouldn't make sense. He put th chains down and they made a loud noise as they hit the ground. "Do you have some kink I'm unaware bof?" Braydon asked. His eye brow raised up.

Running his hand through his hair, Blake already had the response planned out in his head, the lie writing itself in his thoughts as he watched Braydon get horribly confused, a light smile playing on his lips. Honestly, it was kid of entertaining. If this were any other situation, he'd probably even be laughing by now, Braydon's puzzled expression enough to send even the most serious people into a mild giggle, only at this point he was more concerned over how explain to Braydon without sound stupid (aka, informing the boy that he was, in fact, a werewolf), or sound like some sort of weird sexual predator.
"There was a party and Levi and I stole them to wind Jasper up, alright?" it was a logical lie - something he and Levi had done before, just not with basement chains. No, the time they'd winded him up with petty theft involved am iron man costume, a grappling hook and two hundred pictures of Barack Obama. "I was gonna give them back but, like, it got past the point of 'hey Jasper, I found your chains, y'know?" He flashed an awkward smile at Braydon, mouth quivering as he tried to refrain from laughing at the whole thing.

"Right....where's your booze?" Braydon asked. He didn't even wanna know why Jasper had chains. Honestly, he didn't even believe Blake. It was Blake. Blake lied a lot. Right now, he'd get drunk and fuck Blake until Blake was seeing stars. Okay, so he didn't actually want to do that he just knew drinking led to that. He walked over to Blake.
"Pleaseeeee," Blake normally shared with him. Braydon didn't normally drink but when he did it was because he was very upset. He only ever did it with Blake. Considering he'd probably have sex with a random stranger if he was dumb enough. "Maybe once I'm really drunk you can explain why you actually have the chains," Braydon said with a wink.

Wordlessly, Blake rolled over and pulled the drawer under his bed open and pulled out a few bottles, quickly dropping them onto the floor and shutting the door with a dramatic thud, the entire motion fast enough to ensure Braydon didn't get a look at what else was in the drawer. In reality, there was nothing too incriminating in the small box, but there was enough to make his boyfriend uncomfortable at the sight of the plastic bags filled with a possibly-maybe slightly illegal green plant and his grinder, mixed with a mess of different alcohols, skins and normal cigarettes. The stash was essentially prebuild so he could withstand any sort of party, another thing Braydon wasn't always happy about, and so it was just easier to pretend that it wasn't there, and what Braydon didn't know wouldn't hurt him, right? Probably.
Lazily, he then picked the various bottles up off the floor, pulling open the drawer of his bedside table and withdrawing a bottle opener, throwing it at Braydon with a playful smile, honestly just glad to move on from the earlier conversation.

Braydon smiled with satisfaction has Blake got the alcohol out. Braydon was quick to open a bottle and then another. He handed the other to Blake. "My dad offered my alcohol when I was seven. That was my first time having it and I got really sick the next day," Braydon shared. "My mom got mad at him . He promised he'd never do it again, he did it when I was thirteen. Can I blame that on the reason that I have a F in algebra?" Braydon asked. It wasnt a odd conversation, in fact Braydon had said worse.
Like the one time his dad had sex with some random girl during his sixth birthday. He was too young to know what was going on. His mom just rushed all the kids outside once they started hearing weird moaning noises. Whenever Braydon was upset with his dad he'd tell Blake stories about how fucked up his dad was. "I like alcohol, you'd think I wouldn't but I do, just not all the time," Braydon said still rambling. He didn't want there to he any awkward pauses.
