Natalia, Natalia was gone she'd left that morning and ever since Alex had felt slightly unattached and so he'd gone out, hoping to find some entertainment. Well maybe hiring a DVD wasn't entertainment immediately but if he took it home and watched it all night, that was something right? Pulling his car into the parking lot, Alex locked it, not noticing if anyone else was parked or not before heading inside. He used to visit the store a lot when he was a teenager but since he'd arrived back last summer he hadn't been once. Starting off at the front, Alex scanned the rows looking for something to excite him until the sound of the door being opened caught his attention and Alex noted who had entered. "Still in Beacon Hills, Evans?" Alex asked, turning to face her, he remembered her quite clearly from school.

Who even used this store any more? Evans, apparently. The internet at home had gone down, and instead of just calling someone to see about fixing it, Evans' mum had decided it would be the perfect time to get in a film and have some mother-daughter bonding time, or whatever. She didn't really want to tell her that if the internet was back on, they could just stream it for free. But, her mum had been through a lot in the past few weeks, she'd lost her husband after all, and Evans had been mentioning moving out a couple of times. She figured she may as well let her mum have this time while she still could. It wouldn't be that bad, probably. Sighing, she walked into the store and began looking around. She hadn't been told to find a specific film, just something she thought they both might like and hadn't seen before. It shouldn't be to hard, they liked similar things, but there was so many films in the store... It would be a chore to find something.
That's when she heard a question, apparently directed at her, since she was the only other person there, and she looked up. Alex Harper. She hadn't seen him since she'd dropped out of high school. It was a blast from the past, to say the least. He looked so different, but at the same time had hardly changed. "I sure am" She said, finger tips running over various DVD's, still not seeing anything that caught her eye. "What about you, Alex?" She asked, setting her icy eyes on him.

Ah, Evans, high school dropout although not in Alex's year and younger than him by two years, the pair had been friends who had drifted apart after Alex graduated and eventually he'd learnt that she'd dropped out of Beacon Hills High. Now he was curious as to what she'd been up to and to actually know why she'd dropped out, it had been bothering him perhaps even more than learning Latin pronouns. Giving her a small grin, Alex shoved his hands into the back pockets of his jeans before replying, "well, I'm here now aren't I?" Walking over to where she was looking, Alex glanced over the DVDs, "I left for a while though, went travelling, what about you, Evans, done anything since you dropped out... or so I hear?" Alex asked, leaning against the row with one arm resting on top of the shelf.

"Where did you go travelling?" Evans asked, still mostly ignoring the DVD's and instead just paying attention to him. They hadn't really seen each other since Evans had dropped out, and this seemed as good as time as any to catch up with him a bit. She didn't know when she'd next see him, it could be days or months from this date. She shrugged "Just working up at the animal clinic for my parents. I've done bits and peices of travelling, too" She told him, the memory of last time she'd gone 'travelling' with her dad washing over her and making her feel sick in the pit of her stomach. She pushed the thought away and instead pushed a smile to her lips. "And, yeah, i did drop out. School just wasn't for me, i guess" It wasn't completely true, she'd gotten pretty good grades while she'd been at school, she'd had friends and was genrally a good student, but she'd just found it so boring, she completely despised the thought of going there everyday. It hadn't taken much persuading her parents to get them to let her drop out and join the family buisness, which is why she was where she was now. "Anyway, how've you been? How're your sisters?" She asked.
