Normality Open words: 248 Notes:N/A Lottie had left ballet when she decided she may as well nip into the local cafe on her way home, it was on her way after all, and she was tired. It was practically calling out to her when she passed, and the smell of all the warm drinks and biscuits were hard to resist. So, she slipped into the cafe and got in line, ordering a coffee and a cookie before finding a table to settle at for now. She grabbed a few sachets of sugar and poured 3 into her drink- she didn't like the taste of coffee that much, but she figured she needed the energy boost. After a couple of sips she pulled her phone out, texted her dad just to tell him she'd be a bit late home, then slipped her phone back away and got lost in her own little world, switching between munching on her (probably overpriced) cookie and sipping her drink. It wasn't the best drink or biscuit she'd ever had, but for some reason she was really enjoying it today. She guessed it was just because she was so tired and this was getting her energy levels back. It'd been a while since the last time she'd felt completely normal, all her banshee stress aside, so she was pretty glad for this little slice of normality. It was almost as if she'd gone back a year, but now she knew she had friends to text if she wanted too.
