Valentine's Day had never been a holiday that Pierce ever felt like celebrating. He never saw the point. If you're going to be a terrible boyfriend every other day of the year, why change your ways because of a holiday that has become more commercialized than cable television. But this year Pierce's stance on Valentine's Day had changed. Maybe it was Mason. Maybe it was just the fact that he actually had extra money to spend this month. Of course, he wasn't doing anything big or fancy, but it was just a little something special. He was cooking dinner and he had rented a movie to watch after dinner. Pierce cooking was the special part since Pierce couldn't cook at all. But he'd learned how to cook this one thing just for Mason. In addition, Pierce had died his hair back to red and he was dressed up all fancy. Now dinner was ready and on the table, and Pierce just had to wait for Mason to get there.

Mason had never really celebrated valentine's day. Him and Haley used to just go see whatever movie was out. Something felt different with Pierce thiugh and he was happy to spend valentine's day with him.
He walked inside and saw Pierce cooking. "You cooking? Damn." Mason said with a laugh.

Pierce was sitting on the couch as he waited for Mason to come in. When he did, he looked over his shoulder and smiled, chuckling a little at his comment. "I promise it's not going to kill you...probably," he said. But Pierce was actually rather confident that his food would at least be edible.

Mason just laughed a little at Pierce. "I got you these," He said. He pushed some flowers toward Pierce. They were roses and Mason felt awkward because he was never really good at valentine's day. A small hint of pink appeared on his checks as he fared to glance at Pierce.
