They were in the middle of no wjere, that's what Liam concluded. They were in some cabins that were way in the borders of beacon hills. They were here for school. It was an annual trip every high school student got to go on. It was Liam's first year being able to go. Considering he had cancer his first 2 years of high school.
They had just gotten off the bus and he woke Rose up. Rose was sitting right next to him and managed to fall asleep. He managed to convince everyone to go on the trip with him. Even though they had already been before. He looked over at Jasper. "Sooo what's so fun about this trip besides missing a week of school? " Liam asked.

Skylar was sitting next to Jasper on her phone, obviously not thrilled by the idea of going on a trip to the woods for a week. She'd never been on the trip before simply because she had no interest in it, but Liam had asked everyone to go, and he wasn't taking no for an answer. "Nothing," Skylar responded to Liam's question even though she obviously wasn't asking her. But there was a plus side of the trip, and that was the fact that she got to share a room with Levi for a week. Sure, they could really do that whenever they wanted because it wasn't like either of their parents really cared, but Skylar was trying to be optimistic, kind of.

Levi had made a conscious effort to sit as far away from Jasper and his friends as possible, but that was kind of difficult when you realized all of his friends were also your friends. Somewhere along the way, Levi had lost her tag as social invalid who always had her nose in a book or eye down a camera lens, and had turned into an actual, social person, and part of her hated it. The other part loved it, of course, because she was fairly sure it was Sky that had brought it out in her, and she loved that girl more than she knew how to love anything else. She'd ended up sitting just a few seats from Jasper and Liam, which was just a few seats closer than she'd have liked to be, but she also didn't want Sky out of earshot. In truth, the mere fact they wouldn't be able to hold hands for the duration of the trip was killing her. Eh, at least they had the evenings in their room together, right?
Hearing Liam's comment, she quickly chimed in "yeah, Liam, you realise you've just subjected us all to seven days of legal torture?" she raised an eyebrow at him, a playful twinkle in her eyes that suggested she was only messing, it wasn't all bad. Despite the fact it seemed they were all doomed to fall victim to boredom, she was in a surprisingly good mood.

Post by Blake Wilde on Feb 3, 2015 0:05:03 GMT
After fighting almost desperately to go on the yearly cabin trip after the school principal and his doctor advised against it, Blake was starting to regret his decision to insist that he and Braydon go. Sure, he felt a lot better than he had a few days ago, and the dizzy spells and bouts of drunk or double vision had seemed to stop almost as quickly as they started, but for some reason he'd still been classed a "medical concern". Apparently when you're classed as terminal, it's kind of hard to convince anyone it's safe for you to even leave the house, never mind go on a trip that consisted of hiding out in the woods for days on end. After all, what if something happened whilst he was out there? What if he forgot to take his medication and ended up having a fit, surrounded by people that had no idea what was going on, and no idea how to help? Okay, so maybe he wasn't too worried about that second one, he hadn't taken any meds in three days and he still felt fine, and nothing had come of it. For the first time since the car accident, he felt himself again, and was determined to make the best of the temporarily good health.
"Dude," he announced, knocking Braydon's leg with his own as they arrived, "we're here." When there was no raise, he tried again, pressing his nose against Braydon's sleeping head (he'd been out the whole time, mind you), and pressing a slow kiss against it, hoping that'd be enough to wake the sleeping-beauty up. "Jeez, I swear sometimes you sleep heavier than Captain America when he was frozen for seventy or so years," he exclaimed as Braydon showed signs of coming back to life. It was weird, Braydon wasn't usually such a heavy sleep, but Blake didn't mind. After all, a sleeping Braydon meant more sleepy cuddle time, right? Cuddle time was always fun. Always.

Braydon had been spending most of his rime with Blake and qatching his siter amd trying to pass all his classes, there was no rime for sleep. He hadn't meant to fall asleep it just sorta happened. He woke up and rubbed his eyes. "Let me sleep for 70 or so years then," braydon frumpled. He was only on this trip for Blake. They managed ro convince the teachers to let them share a room together. Claiming that Brydon was the onky one who properly could help Blake mpre tham anyone else. "Lets gp back to sle2p and cuddle," Braydon mummered.

Post by Iris Weata on Feb 3, 2015 17:32:29 GMT
Iris had spent most of the journey tucked up in her seat by herself, wondering why she'd even bothered coming on the trip this year. Not many people bothered to by the time they got to her age, as the excitement of spending a week away in a forest had kind of dimmed down by then. But it was Liam's first year being able to go, thanks to his amazing cancer recovery, and for some reason she'd decided to go too even though they weren't that close. She just thought that since everyone else was going she may as well tag along too. It didn't take as long as she remembered to get to where they were staying, and soon they were parked in the middle of nowhere. People were nudging others awake, but Iris more focused on Liam's question and all the negative answers "It's not that bad, i guess. Missing school is probably the best part though" She added in, smiling over at him. She didn't know if she actually agreed with what she'd said, but she didn't want him being disappointed about it before anything had even happened.

Post by Rose Harper on Feb 3, 2015 18:44:44 GMT
Rose had not intended to fall asleep on the way to the camp but then the rocking of the bus had just been so lulling and Rose just drifted off until the next thing she knew Liam was nudging her awake. Frankly, Rose wouldn't have minded sleeping for a while longer but at least now she'd be able to stand, stretch her legs and most importantly go to the bathroom. Rubbing a hand over her neck, Rose slowly tuned into the conversation around her. The trip hadn't been so bad the last time Rose had gone or maybe she'd just managed to block the horrible memories, after all, this wasn't exactly the world's most exciting trip. Despite that, Rose was here because Liam asked her to be and she could hardly say no. "Someone get me off of this bus before I punch my way out through the window." Ah, there was one of the many (many possibly being an understatement) of Rose's flaws, grumpiness upon being immediately woken up.

Liam owed him for this one, big time. Okay, so maybe the kid owed him nothing, and Jasper would've come whether he wanted him too or not, but that was besides the point. Kind of. When Jasper was little, he'd gone every year due to the fact that it'd gotten him away from his dad, and usually the school would let he and Levi share a room (for ease's sake, more than anything). It'd been the one week a year that he'd spend both relieved and terrified, happy because he didn't see his dad, but also scared because he was never sure what state his mum would be in when he returned. The only reason he'd actually gone this year was out of genuine curiosity - he wanted to see what the trip was like when you didn't have a mess of questions floating in your brain. Even if he was fairly sure he'd never actually be allowed that luxury, this year was the closest he'd ever gotten, and he wasn't about to waste it.
He'd spent the journey sprawled lazily on the backseat of the bus, taking his usual King of the classroom position as he made mild small talk with Trick, gaze occasionally slipping over the rest of the student body in the bus, settling on Liam and the others every once or twice. Maybe he should've sat nearer, but Trick had insisted on sharing their usual seat, and he wasn't about to deny the woman anything when he knew all too well what kind of tantrum she could throw if she didn't get her way. Besides, it was kind of nice to sit back and take the piss out of everyone once again, even if it left him with the same guilty conscience as it did last year, and the year before that. When the ride came to an end, Jasper was the first to stand up, fingers brushing along the tops of seats until he found Iris, Liam and the others.
"There are kids in Africa that would rather starve than go on this trip, Liam," he interrupted, somehow managing to flash a lazy smile anyway. Across from him, Levi looked a little like she'd just woken up, although it was clear she hadn't actually one any sleeping. If anything, Jasper was positive she'd spent the entire journey with her hair on the glass, staring out at the road in front of them - she always did get travel sick. Flickering around at the rest of the group, he couldn't help but notice something off about Braydon and Blake (I mean, he could usually smell the guy from a mile away, he seemed to literally radiate the smell of cancer, but now it was gone, completely). Still, he didn't have any time to dwell on it, gaze swiveling back to Rose and the group as he added, "I mean, we could always hijack the bus driver and party at my lake house instead?" There was a pause, and he bit his lip before adding, "I'm kidding - I don't actually have a lake house... I have a lake, and a house that just so happens to be next to it." Glancing up, he saw Levi shake his head at him, but make no effort to actually say something about it. After all, it was the truth, and it wasn't like Levi to deny that.

Liam just looked at the others and smirked. "I will get naked and jump in the lake if it'll make you guys have fun," Liam said with a smirk before a teacher interrupted them. She was a teacher who did not like Liam and Jasper at all.
"You will do no such thing, Mr.Crawford. You and Mr.Gold better not start any funny business. This trip is not going to be ruined by you two. Now everyone get your stuff and put it in your room," She said as she got off the bus and the kids grabbed their stuff.
"Jasper we need to think of something," Liam said with a smirk as he got off the bus. He looked over at Rose. "Fine then you first," He said. He knew rose would literally punch something when she was tired. Rose was very crabby when tired. It was almost murderous.

Rose struggled to not rolled her eyes at the teacher, she always seemed to have it out for Jasper and Liam, although sometimes they could be incredibly annoying, especially together, it was no need to be so harsh. "It won't be ruined by them." Rose mumbled, inclining that if it were to be ruined by anyone it would be the teacher. Following Liam out of the bus, Rose craned her neck to catch Iris's eye, giving her a quick smile, checking she was still with them before hopping off of the bus.
Giving Liam's hand a quick squeeze as he let her get off first, Rose rushed over to find her bag, not wanting it to absorb too much dirt from the ground. Waiting for everyone else to come over, Rose took a moment to scan the area, it was pretty, peaceful, a change for what had been going on at home.

Iris rolled her eyes at the teacher, along with probably everyone else on that bus. It was like she didn't want any of them to have any fun this week, and if anyone was going to ruin the trip it would probably be her not them. But as usual she didn't say anything and instead just followed everyone else off the bus, returning Rose's smile before hoping into the open area and looking for her bag. Once she'd found it she headed over to Rose, since they were in the same cabin this week and it seemed like the most logical thing to do.

"Hey," Rose said in way of greeting Iris, backpack slung around her shoulders, slowly perking back up, Rose's face split into a smile. "I feel that we should go and find our cabin before the teacher - the bitch that she is - walks off with the keys." Where had the rest of the squad gone though? Looking around, Rose was pretty sure that that was still Liam, Skylar, Jasper and anyone else who Rose was certain she'd be spending at least some time with over the next few days by the bus. Glancing back at Iris, Rose wanted to check to see if she had any plans before they found their cabin.

"Yo" Iris replied with a grin, looping her thumb under her backpack straps. She then nodded at Rose suggestion of finding their cabin before it was taken from them and they ended up having to sleep under the stars or some shit like that. "Sure-" She began saying before following the other girls gaze over to the bus "-unless you want to go talk to them first? Prove to Liam you're not actually going to punch him" She said, not really minding what they did first.

"Oh, we do? shocking," Jasper replied, following the crowd of people heading off the bus, quickly grabbing his stuff and slinging it over his shoulder. He never did bring much stuff but, then again, the older years never tended to. All the freshmen always ended up with bags upon bags of clothes and snacks, little items they were determined they'd need to survive in the cabin in the woods (or, at least, what their parents had deemed important enough to be taken). Some always looked like they'd seen a few too many horror films, packing first aids kits and pepper spray (Jasper was sure he'd once found a kid running around with a flare gun, determined that he was, in fact, the next robocop). Most of the things they didn't need, and probably never would do, but they were still very entertaining to watch them lug around their oversized bags, clearly determined that they hadn't forgotten anything important... Spoiler alert: at least three of them usually forgot to pack underwear. Heading off to their room, Jasper brushed past Liam, squeezing his arse playfully as he teased, "I'm sure we can find something fun to do, roomie." Walking ahead of him now, he turned and winked, even daring to blow a kiss to him, cheerful twinkle spinning in his eyes. This was going to be fun, he'd already decided.
Behind the pair of them, Levi grumpily slipped off the bus, one hand still rubbing her tummy as she shook her head, trying her hardest to shake off the feeling of unease and nausea that sat within the depths of her stomach. She hated travelling so much, the idea of any sort of roadtrip making her stomach turn faster than a car engine attempting to start. Truthfully, she was just glad to be back on solid earth, rather than wheeling along it at an unnatural speed. Cars were not fun. Ever. Carefully lifting her bag, she scanned the crowd of Skylar, hoping she'd somehow managed to find her way close, and the thought of moving very far at all was almost horrifying. She just wanted to lie down, and then maybe, just maybe, she'd think of actual entertainment for the weekend.

Following Jasper out of the bus (because Mr. Prissypants refused to be cramped up next to the window), Skylar threw her duffle bag over her shoulder and looked around for a moment. There wasn't much to look at, but the lake was almost pretty. If nothing, it would be a relaxing time...hopefully. Once she had finished taking in what little view there was, Sky looked around for Levi and noticed her up ahead of her. She approached her quietly, even though Levi could definitely hear her if she was listening, Sky put her chin on Levi's shoulder and whispered, "Guess who?" Then she backed away quickly and grinned at her. As much as Sky wanted to just be with Levi like a normal couple (or as normal as two girls could be in a relationship when one of the members was a werewolf who just happened to be the sister of the other member's best friend), but she was waiting on Levi to be ready to go public.
