Parties. Parties were probably the one thing Alfie was actually any good at, even if in the past all his events had ended up with broken televisions and trashed hotel rooms. If only he had a band, he'd almost sound like a rock star. Still, Alfie intended to put his partying past to good use in this new shit-hole of a town, and what better excuse was there than Valentine's Day? Not only was it the perfect time, but he also had the perfect venue (he'd discovered that the perks of being associated with a rich family was their rich house, and their expensive alcohols and completely trashable entertainment devices, which he was fairly positive hadn't seen party days since they'd been bought). It was no matter, Alfie would make good use of them, probably. The best part? Winston and Alice were both out for the weekend, and Jasper had given the entire body of staff the weekend off on the grounds that they deserved it, and why? Alfie didn't care to find out. Besides, the boy-king had burrowed himself in his room since he'd gotten home, and Alfie didn't talk to Levi enough to actually know where she went whenever she went out, so it was basically a free house.
Using his "brother's" credit card he'd ordered pizza, as well as a bunch of other greasy fast foods, raided the alcohol cupboard for a variety of old spirits and wines, and then ordered in crate upon crate of beer and cider, the alcohol piled into a corner so people could pick and choose what they wanted. When that was done, he'd stolen the decorations from the school's last valentine's disco and displayed them throughout the many rooms, marking some off as private (just for jasper's sake), and others as "private", which may as well have been code for "if you're going to fuck, fuck in here". When that was done, all that remained was to send out a mass text message to all the numbers on Jasper and Levi's phones, not that either of them even knew he'd taken them. He already knew he'd get in so much shit for what he was doing, and yet he really didn't care. Worst came to worst, he'd get them both drunk enough that they forgot about it and, if that didn't work, he'd already checked that he'd had enough of the green stuff to go around. They were going to be chill about it, whether they really wanted to or not. Weed had that effect on people, he found.
Swinging the door to the mansion open, he turned around to admire his handy work, slow, playful grin passing over his lips. This was going to be fun, maybe, if he wasn't killed for it.

There was noise in the house. This was wrong. It was a full moon - all the staff were at their own homes - Alice and Winston were out visiting their Uncle... There was no need for anyone else to be in the house, especially not this weekend. And yet there was noise in the living room, the creaking of a ladder suggesting things were being putting up, the low grunt of a male leading her to think things were being shifted around. Had they forgotten about someone? Was there someone in the house that they'd forgotten to shut out of the duration of the full moon? There couldn't be - they'd done everything they always did, just in case. Sure, there hadn't been an incident since they were both small kids, but still? It was always better to air on the side of caution...
And then it hit Levi. Alfie. Alfred Smith was still in the house.
Skipping down the hall to Jasper's room, she skidded to a halt and knocked urgently, rocking slightly on the balls of her feet as she waited for him answer. This wouldn't end well, she could already tell. The pair of them had already had an explosive first meeting, to say the least. Jasper didn't want to take any of Alfie's shit, and Alfie didn't want to endure any of Jasper's attitude. They were way too different, and at the same time completely similar in every way, and neither of them looked like they were going to make an effort to like the other. This night was going to end in a fight, that much was already obvious.

It wasn't unusual for Jasper to throw parties for no reason, and since it was valentines day and there actually was a reason this time Iris wasn't surprised that there was apparently something happening at the Gold house this evening. If it had just been a normal night and a random party Iris probably would have skipped it, but her parents had been so weighed down and stressed out about her recently that she decided going out and letting them have the evening to themselves was the least she could do. It hadn’t even occurred to her that it was a full moon and that this party was very strange because of that, there’d been so much going on recently that she just hadn’t been paying attention to the full moons.
So, since she’d assumed there was nothing wrong and this was yet again another innocent party she’d gone, turning up outside the huge house with a handful of other people. She could hear a few other people already inside, their noise just louder then the music that was playing. Heading inside she glanced around but saw no Jasper or Levi, but that wasn’t really a surprise as the girl hardly showed her face at most parties. There was one other boy she didn’t know who seemed weirdly at home here, though, but she didn’t fancy introducing herself just yet, so she stood around waiting for someone she knew to turn up and wishing she’d come a bit later.

This had to be a joke. A party on the full moon in the Gold's house no less? No, this couldn't be serious. Apparently though, it was. Turning about to the house with people already inside, Sophie guessed more were coming, it didn't seem to it's usual bursting point yet, not that Sophie tended to go to Jasper's party, they weren't normally her thing but tonight she was curious. The pull of the moon was strong though and it was a risk to be out but what better way to take a risk than right here at her alpha's own home, at least there would be places Sophie knew she could just go and hide to.
Sophie wasn't exactly dressed for a party, she was dressed for a girl who had been out on a bike ride when she'd gotten a text about a party. So there she stood in the front door with high waited blue jeans and red three-quarter length crop top, wondering what to do. Neither Jasper nor Levi seemed to be about although there was the boy that Jasper had mentioned, Alfie... was that his name? There was one thing Sophie was slowly guessing though, this was his smart ass idea. Wow, Jasper was quite possibly going to kill him, filing into the house as more people arrived, Sophie wondered where to go from here. She had two options, option a) find Jasper and/or Levi to find out what the hell was going on or option b) find someone who looked as if they were up to listening to a ten minute rant about why music like Aerosmith and ELO were much better than the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer and Katy Perry.
Deciding to just wait for a few minutes to see if anything was going to happen, Sophie picked up a cup and sat at the bottom of the stairs, quite happily judging people as they walked past.

Jasper could deal with the obscure amount of noise, deciding to just write it off as just another Alfie incident - it's not like he and Levi had a problem during the full moon in years. But then the knock came at the door, and he could hear cars parking in the garage and driveway. Alfred Smith, what the fuck had you done now? Shoving his laptop onto the bed, he got up and walked to the door, already knowing that it'd be Levi perched on the other side, complaining about their new resident. Levi opened her mouth to speak, but Jasper just held his hand up to shush her, figuring he already knew what she was going to say and instead grabbing her hand and pulling her down the stairs - a whirlwind of blonde hair and toned limbs practically falling down the stairs. A party. a fucking party.
The boy was going to be killed. Not literally. Maybe.
"What the fuck?" was the first thing out of his mouth when he found the skinny Nevadan, drink already in hand, talking to some girl that had given Jasper her number to a few months a go, in hopes of a call. She'd never gotten one. The kid slid sunglasses onto his eyes - sunglasses - inside - could he get anymore pretentious? "It's a party," came the reply. "I know what it is." "...Then what's the issue, dear?" Aflie flashed a toothy smile. Jasper's nostrils flared. "...That, uh, that was a Frozen reference, in case you didn't.." Alfie trailed off, now lifting his fingers into a lazy peace sign, mouth opening to a lazy grin once again. This was getting nowhere, that much was clear. And what could Jasper really do? After all, it seemed a lot like everyone here thought this was his party, and he wasn't about to let his reputation go just because Alfie was a massive twat. Instead, he just sighed, running his hand through his hair before finally sighing, gaze lifting to observe the boy once more before asking, "where's the beer?"
Levi followed suit.
This was going to end horribly, he could feel it in his bones, and yet he let it happen. If anything went wrong, he was blaming Alfie.

Out of the corner of her eye Iris noticed a blonde figure sitting on the stairs. She recognised her as the girl from the lacrosse field that one time, she'd probably seemed completely mad to Sophie, but she was kind of contemplating going over to her anyway. Maybe she could prove she wasn't a crazy girl after all, and had just been having a bad day that one time. She decided not to go over right away, but did smile over at her, knowing she was there to talk to if no one she really knew turned up soon. She then drew her eyes around the rest of the room. More people had turned up now, so Iris decided it was a good time to have a walk around, see who was here and what kind of stuff there was on offer. It wasn't long before she decided to just grab a drink and see what happened, which is when she bumped into Jasper and Levi. A smile came to her lips as she looked at the pair "Hey" She said to them, her smile faltering slightly when she realised how stressed they looked "Is everything okay?"

Sky had been keenly aware of the night of the full moon ever since she'd discovered the existence of werewolves (she totally didn't have a notification on her phone, no way), so she usually tried to stay in on those nights. She wasn't worried about Levi or Jasper because she knew that they hadn't had any issues on the full moon in years, but with so many new werewolves roaming around, she figured it was better to be safe than sorry. But when she caught word of a party at the Gold's, she couldn't help but be a bit nervous. What was Jasper doing? Sure, he likely wouldn't have any issue, but being around that many people wouldn't be good for anyone.
But she had to go, of course. She rushed home, slipped into a dress, then drove to the Gold's as fast as she could without getting pulled over. Judging by the amount of cars already pulled up in front of the house, Sky could tell that this party was already started. Heels clicking with a steady beat on the sidewalk, Skylar approached the house and didn't bother knocking before walking in. She spotted Levi and Jasper standing next to each other, which was just the first sign that something was wrong. Walking over to them, Skylar had a confused expression on her face. "Hey, what's going on?" she asked the two of them. Then she saw Alfie standing there (who she hadn't noticed until just then because she was a good four or five inches taller than him in her heels), and she was even more confused. "Making friends fast, I see?" she said to him. Sky had no idea that Alfie was related to Winston at that point, so she was thoroughly confused.

Alfie just grinned as Jasper grilled him about the party, and then ended up taking it surprisingly well, all things considered. The party wasn't shut down (which he doubted he ever would be, truth be told - Jasper was far too proud for that), and even Levi seemed to be enjoying herself. Whilst he didn't really know the girl that well (she had a tendency to conveniently be out whenever he and Jasper were in), it didn't take a genius to realise that, from the stolen glances most people were giving her, she didn't attend parties very often... Even the ones she was kind of co-hosting. Oh well, it was just something she'd have to get used to if she was going to live with him, it seemed. That, and the smell of weed because, truth be told, it was hard to find a time where he didn't stink of the stuff. He was fine right now, thank fuck, but any time he got home late on another day? That was a completely different story.
Alfie's smile only brightened when two girls rocked up, analyzing gaze quickly registering them as Iris and Sky. He'd only ever heard about the pair of them in passing conversation and, from what he gathered, Sky was Jasper's best friend, and Iris was his kind-of-almost-together thing, even though neither of them seemed to have any idea what was going on. Still, Alfie spotted Jasper's hand reaching out to take Iris' and gripping it tightly, deciding not to say anything and Levi then leaned into the girl and filled her in, unable to see the fact she'd said "it's a full moon," due to the fact she'd covered her mouth as she spoke.
Eventually Jasper actually spoke up with a cough, glancing between the group they'd managed to assemble as he announced, "Sky - Iris - this is Alfie." There was a pause, and Jasper's brow furrowed slightly, almost as if he was actually thinking about something, "he's Wintston's son." With that, Alfie just offered them both an almost shy peace sign, pushing the sunglasses up, off his head slowly.
"That's me - the gay butler's son... Yay?"

It sure wasn't hard to miss Jasper and Levi come thundering down the stairs and Sophie had to smother a laugh, Jasper looked like he was on the warpath. Glancing away from the pair just in time to notice Iris, Sophie happily returned her smile, ignoring the fact that the girl had seemed a bit odd when they'd previously met, everyone was odd in Beacon Hills. It was easy to follow the conversation Jasper was having with the boy, perks of being a werewolf, very soon two more people had joined the trio, making it now a fivio... Sophie was too sure what a collection of five people was. Or was it just really simple like a group. Whatever, that was a stupid train of thought to be having.
Picking up her phone, Sophie sent a quick text to her mum, telling her where she was before standing up and going to the current group of five, it seemed to be the most interesting thing happening at the moment. "Was this your dumb ass idea then? Sophie asked as way of introduction, folding her arms across her chest before dropping them to the pockets of her jeans. "Not a good idea, buddy."

Iris smiled at Sky when she came over, then smiled at the unknown boy who everyone seemed to know but her. She didn't bother adding too her original question, as she was pretty sure someone would tell her at some point who he was, and Levi was already giving a brief answer to why they both looked so worried. Her lips formed a quick 'o' as she realised what that meant, and realised that it probably wasn't Jasper or Levi who had wanted this party, and for some reason she decided then that it was the new boy here, just because he seemed so at ease here. She gave Jasper's hand a short squeeze before speaking and answering her mental question. She only just about managed to hide the surprise on her face when she was told who Alfie was, she only glanced up at Jasper and raised an eyebrow before looking back at Alfie. How had she never been told Winston had a son?
She kept her question to herself, something she was becoming pretty good at doing, and just smiled at him. "Well, it's great to meet you" Was all she had a chance to say before Sophie rolled up and began giving her opinion on everything that was going on.

((This is a post is a mess of all my characters so good luck figuring out who's doing/thinking what - soz xox))
"It's nice to meet you to," Alfie replied to Iris with a bright smile, fingers still formed into a lazy peace sign - the one hand symbol that Jasper was quickly learning to hate. Well, he straight up hated the whole boy, if he was truly honest. There was something about him and his Nevadan accent that just seemed to grate against Jasper, stripping him into a tightly wound mess of frustration and despair, and he had no idea what to do with the boy. The kid was a mess, that much was obvious, no one cared that little about anything when their life was okay. Still, he wouldn't dare to point it out, knowing that the kid would probably just act offended and then walk anything he said off by just walking to the forest and lighting up.
Eh. He'd learn to live with the guy - it's not like he had much choice.
Still clutching Iris' hand, he looked up at Sophie, unable to keep a smile from spreading across his face. The girl was more of a sibling to him than Alfie ever would be and, in truth, there never really was a time where she didn't make him laugh, even if it was just because of her complete lack of control when it came to politeness. As Alfie began to respond to the petite blonde, grinning at her as the words, "I think the words you're looking for are 'thank you'," Levi only grinned at Sky, gaze brushing up and down the woman from under dark lashes. Jesus. She fucking loved that woman and, right now, it was killing her that they couldn't just act like a normal couple. It'd been Levi's choice, honestly, asking Sky as nicely as she could if they could keep it on the down low, for now. She hadn't actually come out yet, really, and part of her was actually scared of telling Jasper. How was that conversation supposed to go, really? "Oh, hey Jasper, just wanted to let you know that, not only am I a massive raging lesbian, but I'm kind of dating your best friend - LOL!"? She could only imagine it ending badly, and so was taking her time... She'd do it soon though, honest. Maybe. For now, they were stuck commencing the relationship behind closed doors, stealing kisses here and there, when they thought they were safe. But, it didn't mean they could act like friends, right? And so Levi threw the girl a small wave, holding a beer she'd run and gotten earlier.
Alfie threw a wink over at Sophie now, and Jasper stole an unopened drink from some poor passerby, throwing them a cheeky smile as he raised the bottle in a cheers movement. They didn't try to take it off him again. The night was going okay, so far. It was only if someone lost it they'd have an issue, and the only risk right now was Sophie, and even she hadn't struggled with it in a while. Silently, Jasper just prayed that Liam didn't turn up. That could only end up going horribly, horribly wrong - the guy was always a little volatile at this time of the month.

At first Sophie just narrowed her eyes at Alfie, wondering if he had any boundaries (which was a bit rich coming from Sophie but that was beside the point), that was until she noticed Jasper smiling at her and it was impossible to stop a small grin slipping across her lips. It was impossible to not feel relaxed around here, everything was just very familiar even in an odd situation like this. Noting Jasper and Iris's entwined hands, Sophie made a mental note to question Levi about it at some point, it was only simple curiosity... honestly.
Alfie was speaking now though and Sophie's attention was cast back to him, hands slipping together in front of her. "I should thank you, should I?" Sophie challenged, raising an eyebrow at the boy, trying to pick out where he was from from the lilt in his voice. Accents weren't exactly her strong point though. "We'll see if I think this is a good idea by the end of the night." Also known as, granted that there was not trouble (werewolf wise) Sophie didn't find the idea to be especially with the stuff going on in Beacon Hills at the moment.

Skylar didn't bother asking questions about Winston suddenly having a son, as she had other things on her mind anyways. It wasn't really a surprise, if she was being honest. Winston had always been a bit of a mystery to her. He was like that crazy uncle that everyone loved but no one really knew anything about, and no one ever asked. "Oh, um hi there," Skylar said with an awkward wave. Skylar then turned to Levi and smirked slightly. It took every bit of strength she had not to just drag the girl into some private room right then and there, but Skylar was trying to take things slow with Levi. Every relationship she'd ever had usually ended in her crawling out of their bed in the morning and never speaking to the person again. This was different. This was love, if Sky ever knew it.
But she took a moment to drag her thoughts away from the blonde beauty. "Hey, um, isn't drinking tonight kind of a terrible idea?" she said to Levi, but to any of the other werewolves in the room as well. Skylar didn't know a whole lot about how the whole full moon thing worked, but she could only assume that a drunk werewolf wasn't nearly as strong as a sober one, and she didn't feel like dealing with supernatural drama tonight.

Post by Blake Wilde on Feb 8, 2015 18:17:16 GMT
Blake's head was a mess. But, then again, hadn't it always been? He couldn't remember a time when he wasn't suffering from some form of cancer, or on drugs, or something equally as ridiculous. He'd just never been very good at finding a coping mechanism, and so he'd always taken to locking it in his brain and letting it decay there, damaging countless cells in the process, not that he ever really cared. But now, theoretically, there was nothing wrong with him. Erik had fixed it, hadn't he? He'd been bitten, and was now, apparently, a werewolf. Jesus Christ - why did his life always seem like it'd been written by some teenage girl, sitting at her laptop in her bedroom? Why couldn't his tale be one that ended with 'and they lived happily ever after', instead of 'he got cancer and then turned into a werewolf, and they lived a very long forever after, full of secrets and lies and howling at the full moon'? If any of the crap was even true.
Torn between what the truth was, Blake had dumbly found his way to Jasper's party, ignoring almost every single one of Erik's warnings. Who was that kid to tell him what to do? All Blake really wanted was a good time - something he'd missed a lot of lately, was that so much to ask? Clearly. Slipping through the front door, Blake made his way through the crowds of people. He felt off, somehow, like part of him was waiting for something to set him off, but he didn't care. He wasn't a naturally angry person, so it'd be okay, right?

Erik was going to kill him. Erik knew he would be at the party and in simple words Erik was going to kill him. He got to the party and pushed people out of the way until he found the boy. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING HERE?" Erik yyelled. He grabbed Blake's hand and dragged him outside.
