What was worse, living with a man who drove a seventeen year old rich kid around for a living, or knowing that your prostitute mother had shipped you away from your hometown just because she'd met some rich politician that promised to whisk her around the globe... As long as she had no previous attachments, obviously. And so she left, sending Alfred off with only an address and a vague description of a man his mother used to know (who, apparently, was very bad in bed, because that was definitely the kind of information that you told your son to help him find the father that fled). Despite his mother's vague instructions, he actually managed to find the town of Beacon Hills, and eventually his father... Who turned out to be a homosexual almost-butler who had forty-seven different varieties of tea and had a union jack handkerchief that'd been signed by the Queen. Yeah. He was just that cool.
Alfie'd gone from living in a shitty hotel suite with a bellhop for a best friend and couple of other questionable acquaintances he'd made through school, most of which he only shared one common interest with: drugs. It was too bad they couldn't have come with him... What a fun time they would've had in the small town of Beacon Hills. It would've been a smoking ruin by the time they were done with it.
Eh. He'd find new friends, he always did, although he would mourn the loss of Estaban Ramirez, the bellhop friend.
Somehow, Alfie had found himself into a random clearing in the forest, alleyways of trees opening out to a grassy space, small patches of daises pushing up through the grass whilst other patches remained mostly dead, dirty brown ground suggesting that some parts of the wood hadn't recovered from the fierce summer. Whatever. It's not like the temperatures he was used to, so he'd live. He'd taken to lying on his back, staring up at the wisps of skyline he could see as the trees parted, deciding the passing of the clouds overhead was a nice way to pass the time, for absolutely no reason at all.
Okay, so maybe he was just a little stoned, but who wouldn't be in his situation? He was just chilling, and it was nice.
That was, until he heard footsteps, and quickly removed what was left of the joint from his lips, pressing the tip of it into the bark of a tree nearby. Sure, the smell of the dirty chemical in his lungs would still creep through the clearing, but they had no proof. Slowly, without even raising his head to see who it was, he announced, "if you're a policeman, I am not the droid you're looking for - he went that way.." he lazily pointed in a random direction, narrow fingers flicking the passerby away before adding, "and, if you're not, my name's Albert, nice to meet you." A small giggle escaped his lips at the lie, and his finger dropped back to the ground again, gaze still placed securely on the sky above.

Lia was just in the forest trying to get away from everything. She was lost now and it was clearly annoying her. She didn't call Xavier though. She just kept walking. That was until she came across a person who was very high. "I'm not the police," Lia said. She raised an eyebrow at the guy. "I'm Lia. How mean of you to get high and not invite anyone," Lia said with a friendly smile. She needed more friends she needed to stop pushing peopel away.

There were only a few reasons you would ever find Sky in the forest: 1. She was training since she had been so terrified by her own father trying to kill her that she decided to learn how to use a sword (and she was rather good at it), 2. Something werewolf related (which happened a lot more often than one would think), or 3. She was in some emotional state where she needed to get so drunk or high that she could no longer feel anything, and she didn't want to wake up in a strangers bed...again. This time it was the latter, and Sky definitely wasn't planning on having company. Ever since the dance she had been all kinds of emotional, but now wasn't the time for figuring those emotions out. With a bag of weed stuffed in the back pocket of her jeans and a pipe in her purse, she headed as deep into the forest as she could without getting lost.
But when she heard voices not to far from her, she couldn't help but be curious. She walked towards them, and the smell of weed grew stronger as she got closer. Awesome, somebody to smoke with, she thought. Sky usually liked smoking alone, but it didn't hurt to have a friend or two once in a while. What she hadn't expected to see was Lia standing there when she finally found the source of the smell. "Lia?" she said, almost shocked. Then she noticed the boy sitting on the ground by her, and her eyes widened even more. "Wait, are you cheating on Xavier because if you are, I totally support this." Sky wasn't the biggest fan of Xavier, and that was no secret. It might have something to do with the fact that his family's whole purpose was to kill the only two people she'd ever been in love with. But that was a story for another time. Skylar just smiled down at the boy. "Oh, and I'm Sky, by the way," she said to him.

Not cops. That was a good thing, maybe. In the past, Alfie had almost found it exhilarating to watch the police sweat and squeal as they attempted to find something, anything, to arrest him for, even when the most they could ever give was a warning. Sure, smoking pot was illegal, but in a cities like the one he was from, the drug was the least of the police's worries. He'd only ever been arrested once or twice, at best, and even then that was for dealing to minors, which was apparently a thousand times worse than selling a dirty homeless man his only reason for living. Well, only reason besides his following of flies, all of which probably had names. Oh well. There was nothing quite as entertaining as spending a night in the cells, especially when his mother was busy doing even more unholy things, and they had chosen to steal him away instead. Eh. Shit happens.
Offering the two newcomers a slow, cheeky smile, he slipped the end of the joint back into his mouth (he couldn't light it unless he was holding it between his teeth, it seemed), and pulled a blue, round lighter out of his pocket, sparking it a few times before lighting the strip between his mouth. The whole action was slow, almost lazy, and yet there was a certain ease to it that suggested it was something he'd done so many times before that he was pretty much a professional at it. It was almost thoughtless.
"I didn't know anyone to invite," he explained with a shrug, "I'm new here." His gaze ran from the pair of them before rolling back up to the sky again, too high to really pay attention to anything else. He was just so - so chill - and even the thought of moving to accommodate the newcomers seemed like just a little too much effort, even if he didn't mean to be rude. Instead, he just raised his fingers and threw a slow peace sign, taking a drag of the joint in his mouth with a certain comfortable ease, like he was the King and these were his people.
Everything was calm. Everything was good.

"I'm definitely still with xavier," Lia said to sky not even shocked that she was here. She looked over at the kid. She smiled kindly at him since she was always open to making new friends. "I'll be your friend. I mean anybody to get high with must be a good friend right?" Lia asked with a cheeky smile. She was in a daring mood today she didn't know why. She just felt like doing something fun and right now getting high sounded fun.

Silence followed Lia's comment, Alfie's cloudy stare turning to look at Lia, if not through her. No, the guy wasn't hallucinating, and truth be told if he'd be confused if he was - he'd only ever seen that happen with acid and shrooms and the like - never weed. Still, he was struggling to actually focus on the girl in front of him, eyes narrowing slightly before he took another long drag, this time not inhaling properly and instead blowing the smoke out of his nose like a dragon. A violent stinging sensation past down his nostrils, but he wasn't all that bothered, the light chuckle on his lips betraying the fact that he'd only found it funny. Finally, after a long period of laughing at himself, his gaze circled back to Lia, and he replied, "I don't think that's very sound logic, m'dear." There was another pause, this time for no apparent reason, before he finally added, "I mean, I know plenty of people that get high, but I'm like seventy-five percent sure that at least ten of them are convicted felons."

Skylar simply shrugged and sat down, pulling her pipe out of her bag and the plastic bag out of her pocket. "So, you're new around here," she said, turning to Alfie. "Where'd you come from, then? And why the hell would you ever leave to come here?" Skylar wasn't the biggest fan of Beacon Hills, though she'd never actually lived anywhere else. She dreamed of living in a bigger city one day if she could ever afford it, but that wasn't likely. She'd probably be stuck in the small town forever, but she could dream, right?
Sky glanced up at Lia. "Are you going to sit down or?" she asked, dragging out the last word. Then she just started smoking, not completely interested in the answers to any of the questions she had previously asked.

Lia sat down next to them. Lia never had stuff with her. She was always the innocent one of her friends. She had only tried three times. All three of those times she was WITH sky.
Lia shrugged at Alfie. "I know a lot of people who smoke but they're not convicted felons, " Lia said.
