"I have friends," Levi insisted, although they both knew it wasn't exactly true. The reality was the Levi had Sky, and then a few people that she spoke to on and off, just for the sake of getting through classes without looking like a complete recluse. She wasn't very good at 'friends', spending half her time determined that she'd end up hurting someone, either by physically injuring them or by doing something that upset them. No, it was easier to just stay on the sidelines and do what you were told than make friends. Besides, if the worst came to the worst, she could always go crawling back to Jasper... Just like she always did. "I seriously just - I don't want to risk getting drunk, and I definitely don't want to be in anyone's way."

Iris breathed out a soft laugh and smiled, shaking her head lightly "Yeah. I just thought- nevermind" She decided if she told him what she thought she'd seen he'd just call her crazy, so she didn't bother. "I think i've had too much to drink" She added, in way of an explanation for both him and herself. Being drunk was really the only reason she had for why thought she'd seen what had.

"If you say so," Jasper replied, offering Iris a lopsided smile as he contemplated just kissing her again, even if he was fairly sure the exact thing she was now questioning would happen again as soon as he did. Having said that, Jasper wasn't really the type of person to worry about the consequences, and so quickly wrapped his arm around her petite waist again, fingers brushing against her back as he leaned in and kissed her again, almost immediately feeling the control he'd regained over the past few minutes slipping away from him again, eyes quickly slipping back to a deep red colour. He just about managed to blink it away again, but it took long enough this time that he was positive she wouldn't deny what she saw this time and so, in other words, he was screwed.

This time Iris was sure she hadn't imagined it. His eyes had gone red again, just like the first time and she pulled away from him, holing herself up on her arms so she was hovering over him now. "Your eyes were red" She told him, her voice certain despite the questioning look on his face. She knew she couldn't be imaging it this time but it still made no sense. She cocked her head to the side, waiting for his answer and hoping it wouldn't be patronising or something along those lines.

Jasper's brow furrowed, looking back at Iris with a slightly confused expression, thinking for a minute before finally replying, "are you sure it wasn't just the light?" He offered her a sympathetic smile, but whether she would accept it or not he didn't know. Honestly, he had absolutely no idea how to get out of this one, knowing that if he even dared murmur the truth she'd slap him for being a dick, and then refuse to believe anything he ever told her ever again. And yet, at the same time, there was no plausible explanation for it, and he was fairly sure Iris was already fairly certain it wasn't a normal thing that happened to people. He quickly pushed himself up off the floor, sliding out from under Iris so he could sit on the ground properly, not quite sure what else to say.

"Yes i'm sure. Your eyes went red, then you blinked and they went back to normal, so it couldn't have been the light. It happened twice" Iris told him, bringing her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them once she'd slipped off him. She stared at him for a moment before asking "Why did they do that?" She couldn't think of a proper, logical explanation for it, but none the less she wanted the truth.

Jasper just looked down at his shoes, having no idea how to respond to the situation and, for the first time in a while, actually being a little nervous about what to say. If he told her the truth she'd laugh in his face, and if he lied? Well, he was fairly sure she'd be able to tell, and he was positive he'd only end up losing her trust then. Pulling himself together, he forced himself to look at her before finally replying, "you wouldn't believe me if I told you." There was almost a look of resignation on his face - it slowly dawning on him that the truth was probably going to come out sooner or later, and Iris was probably just going to have to deal with it.

Iris sighed, placing her chin on her knees. She watched him, slowly getting more irritated with him as he put off answering for longer "Oh come on, it can't be that bad" She muttered, sitting up straight again as she crossed her legs. She didn't see what was so bad that he would just refuse to tell her what had made his eyes change, it was just a simple answer.

"Not in here," Jasper insisted, glancing around him at the few people that were still in the room. He didn't particularly care that they were in there, but he wasn't particularly fond of the idea of divulging one of his biggest secrets when he was surrounded by people that could possibly overhear, and probably wouldn't respond very well. Taking her hand, he gave her as much of a reassuring smile as he could, not that she really needed one, and stood up, making his way back to his bedroom. In comparison to the rest of the house, Jasper's room was almost a little cluttered. Various polaroid pictures and photographs lined one of the walls, and an abstract painting was hung over his bed. A calender was stuck to another wall, with the dates that had passed crossed off with a black marker pen. A book case sat in the corner, opposite his bed (which, by the way, was unmade), and various other pieces of furniture were scattered in the room, including a closet, a mirror, a desk, and a television that was hooked up to various different games consoles. Moving to sit on the bed, Jasper let out a long sigh, finally looking at her as his eyes slipped back to red for the third time that night.
"Was it like this?" he asked quietly, even though he already knew the answer.

Iris gave him a look of confusion as he told her he couldn't explain it in here, wondering what cold be that bad, but she got up and allowed herself to be lead through the house and into what she could safely assume was his room. Letting her eyes scan round the room she took everything in, comparing it to what she'd seen of the rest of the house for a moment and noticed how different it was to every other room she'd seen here. She turned her attention back to him when he spoke again, and couldn't help but gasp at what she saw. She nodded in reply, not sure what else to do. And all she wanted to know was why he could do that and if he'd really tell her.

Could he really believe he was doing this? No. It all seemed wrong, somehow, the idea of telling Iris the complete and whole truth and expecting her to actually believe it. Iris Weata, of all people, the girl who had her head so trapped in the world of science and logic that it seemed almost impossible for her to even acknowledge the idea of something out of the ordinary existing... Never mind werewolves. And yet he was going to confess it to her anyway, no matter what the consequences. "I - uh -" he found himself tongue tied for possibly the first time ever, not quite sure how to approach the subject, "I'm not quite exactly human," he finally managed to finish, breath almost catching in his throat, hands shaking slightly with nerves. Most of his natural confidence and charisma had been stripped away, replaced almost by a fear that she'd just laugh at him or just write it off as some kind of sick joke... He knew he would if he was in her position

Iris just frowned slightly, honestly not sure what to do with what he'd just told her. The only thing that was stopping her just laughing or walking out was that he seemed so nervous about it, from what she could tell he was actually shaking slightly. That really wasn't the Jasper she knew, so she decided to hear him out. Sitting down next to him she raised an eyebrow slightly "Well then what are you? Because you look pretty human to me- minus the eyes thing" She told him, doing her best to give him a reassuring smile.

Jasper just let out a light laugh, shaking his head slightly, still trying to figure out exactly he was doing this. He was honestly surprised she hadn't walked out yet, deciding that he was just a raving loon that played it off like he was totally okay most of the time. But no, for some reason, she was still there, actually deciding to hear him out... Jasper was fairly sure she was going to regret that decision. The situation was just too ridiculous, and Iris was clearly too sensible. After a long pause, he finally spoke up again, pursing his lips before finally saying, "I'm a werewolf... Jeez, it sounds even worse out loud than it did in my head." He shook his head slightly, already mentally preparing for her to get horribly annoyed at him, as if he was actually just winding her up.

Iris began fiddling with her sleeves as she waited for his answer, but as soon as he spoke again she fell still. After a moment she realised he must be joking, and just gave up on getting an answer from him- it was obviously he wasn't going to tell her so she may as well give up. "Yeah, of course you are" She sighed, shaking her head lightly before standing up and walking towards the door. She was pretty sure everyone else she knew had gone now, so she may as well just go home too since Jasper was just lying to her.

"I did say you wouldn't believe me," Jasper called after her, using the time she'd taken to walk to the other side of the room to sprawl out on his bed, running his hand through his hair before letting it rest behind his head, against a pillow. He watched her carefully, eyes slowly fading back to a light blue colour as he waited her to either say something or leave, not really all that bothered which. He'd told her to truth, it really wasn't his fault if she didn't believe him. Besides, Jasper was fairly used to people hating or disliking people, one more didn't really matter, right? It's not like he actually liked her or anything... Oh no wait.
