If anyone was going to throw a party for no reason other than he felt bad for a friend, it was Jasper Gold, and tonight was no exception. The red cups lined the tables, bowls filled with a liquid with a questionably high alcohol content and birthday presents were messily thrown into a stack in the corner of the living room. People were milling around, as usual, and now all that was left to do was to somehow get Iris to actually, well, turn up... Not that Jasper had actually figured out how to do that yet. He'd thought about picking her up himself (and then remembered their conversation about his amazing driving skills), and instead done the only thing he could think of; he sent Winston.
Looking around the room, he pulled his mobile phone out of his pocket, quickly finding Iris' name on his contacts and ringing, not even introducing himself when it went straight to voicemail., "alright, so I know we're not really that close, but I'm kind of bored and Liam is busy playing monkey with some bitch from school, so I was wondering if you wanna come over?" he paused, knowing he probably sounded like the world's biggest idiot on the planet and somehow not caring - even if it was weirdly out of character. "Anyway, you kind of have to come over because I already told Winston to pick you up from your house at six - you're welcome." With that, Jasper hung up, slipping the phone back into his pocket and looking around, half expecting Liam to come tease him about the fact he might actually like someone that wasn't Skylar or Liam. Shocking, right?

Skylar was bored out of her mind, as usual, so she decided to turn up at Jasper's home. She didn't bother to let him know she was coming, since she was sure he wouldn't mind her presence, and if he wasn't home, then she'd find something else to do. Once she reached his house, she started to knock, but tried the door first, which was already unlocked. When she walked in, there were a lot more people in Jasper's house than Sky expected there to be.
Skylar shrugged and went to find Jasper. "Having a party?" she asked her friend, laughing a little.

Iris' dad had a thing about phones. He also had a thing about homework. If you put those too together it gave you a daughter who had to show at least half an hours worth of homework in the evening until she was aloud her phone back. It sucked, but you had to learn to live with it. She placed a done maths paper in front of her dad before swiping up her phone and running back to her room, just to find a voice message from Jasper of all people. She listened, a confused look on her face before realising the time and jumping up to get ready in 15 minutes. She managed to make herself look presentable, nice even, just in time to tell her parents she was going out with no explanation and meet the famous Winston.
The small conversation in the car with him was very British, well she assumed it was, but he was the first British person she'd actually met so she had nothing to compare it too. She thanked him before getting out, then walked up to the door, admiring Jaspers house. She smoothed her hair down before opening the unlocked door and looking around, very confused by the amount of people there.

"No, actually, I just thought I'd let a bunch of people from school into my house so they can get drunk and break things," Jasper replied, rolling his eyes at Skylar like she'd just said something really stupid, and yet smiling anyway. He hadn't really spoken to Skylar lately, too busy with trying to keep Liam from either crying over the guilt he felt over killing someone or, well, actually killing people. Either way, Liam was hard work lately, and most of his time after that went towards school and trying to fix the family he'd managed to dismantle by murdering the head of it - oops? Skylar had somehow gotten lost in the mess he'd made, unfortunately. "I'm really sorry, I'll be right back - hold that thought though?" Jasper said suddenly, giving her an apologetic smile and then walking away as he realised Iris had arrived, and looked, well, confused.
"I know your birthday was a few days ago but you seemed really bummed that your friends ditched so I though I'd throw you a party instead, but then I realised I actually had no idea who your friends were so I - uh - I just invited everyone," he said in a rush, offering her a nervous smile as he ran his fingers through his hair. He knew it was still a little out of character; hell, even being friends with Iris was out of character for Jasper, and yet he couldn't actually explain why he wanted to be. Iris was an enigma to him, clearly.

"But--"Skylar was about to say something about Jasper's forgetting to invite her, but he was gone. She sighed, rolling her eyes. She looked around then, trying to find someone to talk to. The only problem was that Jasper was the only person who she could actually talk to for more than a two second conversation, and he seemed busy, as he always had been recently. Skylar tried to act like she didn't care about Jasper's ignorance of her, but she'd be lying if she didn't say she felt a little left behind. But what did it matter? Seventeen years and he was the only person she had managed to stay friends with for a long time. So she'd just have to stick with him for as long as he'd have her around.

Iris turned as the now familiar voice came from beside her. His explanation honestly shocked her, she never thought anyone would ever through her a party, especially Jasper off all people. Still a bright, surprised grin came to her lips, a laugh slipping out with it as she looked around at everyone there. There was probably only about 2 people there that actually cared that this was for her birthday but still, it was pretty amazing. "That's actually... That's really sweet. I didn't think you could really be sweet, but you've proved me wrong. Thank you" She said, looking at him with her bright smile. "Or though, now some people may defiantly think you're nice and approachable- so i'd watch that if i were you" She added, referring back to their conversation at the ice rink.

Why Lottie had decided to come to a party of all things was something she didn't know. She knew she wasn't going to talk to anyone unless it was to mumble an apology or something, she just guessed it was because it was something to do and she had no where better to go. She scanned around all the people, the presents in the corner, and then her eyes landed on the drinks. She walked over, assuming there'd be alcohol in at least some of them and picked one up. After taking a sip she realised that there was defiantly alcohol in it- more then she usually put into one, but oh well. She'd drink it anyway. She needed to loosen up a bit if she was going to make it through even half an hour of this. So, she settled against the wall, watching everyone with her drink and feeling very out of place.

"I don't think I mind, depending on which people I've changed the opinion of," Jasper replied, shrugging his shoulders lazily, "but you're welcome - just don't expect me to this nice all the time - I'm not very good at it." He proceeded to shove his hands into the back pockets of his jeans, not quite sure what else to say without just bringing up something profoundly ridiculous, like the blog Winston runs where he buys special teas and write reviews about them online. Biting his lip, he finally added, "would you like a tour? I promise to only point out the non boring and crucial things you'll need to know... Like, y'know, the toilet, drinks counter, where my mum hides the expensive alcohol..." Honestly, he didn't think Iris seemed like much of a drinker, and yet he was a little curious as to how she'd act drunk. Drunk people were always fun, but only if you were equally as pissed.

Liam was hanging out with Lia and Rose when they were invited to a party. Liam decided to go with them and found himself at Jasper's house. He walked in with them. Lia kinda went her own way and Liam picked up a red solo cup.

Skylar stood awkwardly by herself for a moment, then glanced over at the table of drinks and decided that getting drunk seemed like a better option than talking to a bunch of strangers who only knew her through her reputation, if that. She took a drink, then spotted another guy looking rather alone. Liam. They didn't know each other very well, but they were both close with Jasper so they at least knew each other.
"Hey," she said with a smirk. "You look like you could use some company." Sky wasn't really sure if she was flirting or just making conversation, but the two tended to go together when Sky had alcohol.

A party was perhaps unsurprisingly one of Rose's preferred activities to and today was no exception (although she had been enjoying time with Lia and Liam, laughing about the fact that their name's were the same apart from the last letter). The fact that the party was being held at Jasper's house had put a small dent into Rose's mood but she went with it anyway, it was for Iris, and they were kind of friends, right? Watching Lia slip into the crowd and Liam grab a drink Rose sighed before beginning to walk, searching for someone to say hello to.

Liam shrugged at Sky. "Just having a drink I haven't really had a chance to talk to anyone." Liam said honestly.

Iris tucked her hair behind her ears, glancing around everyone there quickly. She noticed Liam talking to someone, but she didn't really know Liam nor the other girl, so she moved on and found Rose in the crowd. She smiled at her quickly, but wasn't sure if she'd noticed so looked back at Jasper as he finished speaking. She'd heard all of what he'd been saying, even if it didn't look like she'd been paying attention, so she nodded, deciding a tour of this place would be a good place to start. Plus, she needed a drink, whether it was alcoholic or not didn't matter. "Sure" She smiled, waiting for him to lead the way then.

Sky nodded. "I see," she said. "Well, you're talking to me now, because you're the only person other than Jasper that might actually be able to hold a conversation with me, so congratulations." Skylar was obviously annoyed, but not with Liam. Liam just happened to be in the right place at the right time, so she was taking her anger out on him.

"What's wrong with you?" Liam asked. Liam took another cup of alcohol. He wasn't planning on getting drunk but he probably would get drunk.
