Why the school was holding another dance after the events of the last one was unknown to the majority of the student body. Still, a vast majority of the pupils were going, waiting for kisses under mistletoe or to take some cheesy Christmas photos with props in the photo booth. The school hall had been made to look like a ice castle with a glittering night sky, it seemed a bit excessive but it no one could deny that it was beautiful. It was especially nice to at least get fake snow since in Beacon Hills snow was incredibly rare, too warm.
Rose wasn't sure why she'd decided to attend the dance but there she was being dropped off by her brother, having hardly spoken a word to Natalia since she'd threatened her and Rose had ran away, terrified out of her mind. Maybe other things were returning to normal again though? Ha, what was normal in Beacon Hills. Heels clicking against the wet concrete, Rose turned to wave at her brother before pulling open the door to the school and making her way to the hall. This time she was wearing a dress which was tight fitting at the top with sleeves to the elbows, the top half of the material black before fading into a shimmering silver. An early gift from her grandparents.
The hall was playing Christmas music which was fitting as it was the Christmas or winter dance, the name changed most years. Eyes scanning the hall, Rose couldn't help but smile, it was gorgeous, there was mistletoe in vases twisted up with fairy lights on tables, bunches handing between paper snowflake decorations. Now though Rose needed to find someone to talk to, to waste the night with.

Iris had been back for about 2 weeks now, and while her parents had been hesitant to let go to the winter/christmas dance at first she'd insisted she was going. She understood why they were worried- the last dance she went to didn't exactly go to smoothly, and this would involve her being out after dark, but things needed to go back to normal sooner or later, and in Iris' opinion, it was better for it to happen quickly then dragging out all her problems. So, even though they probably didn't like the idea, her parents had agreed to let her go- mainly just because they didn't want to argue, but she didn't care, at least she was going.
Slipping into the beautifully decorated school, Iris stood at the side of the doorway and just took a moment to take everything in. Beacon Hills high school was a lot of things, but lazy wasn't one of them. When they decorated they went full out. And it ended up really lovely, there was no denying it. When you walked in you couldn't help but be filled with a complete sense of christmas spirit, and she loved it. She wore a red dress with a thin lace cover and sleeves, and plain black tights and shoes. It was simple, but she felt christmasy in it, so she really didn't care. A light smile on her painted lips she headed further into the room, glancing around and letting the songs fill her head. Couples kissed under mistletoe, while others danced away and laughed. It was really lovely to watch, but now she just needed someone talk with.

Lia loved dances they were one of her favorite things about school. she loved the way a pal's in the school could instantly be transformed. Lia liked to forget about things. She was doing it without drinking now. She had no idea that Liam was back. No one even bothered to tell her. She just needed to get her mind off things so she decided to go. Last minuet dress shopping and last minute text to Xavier she was ready to go. (x) She decided to just go to the dance by herself and she'd meet Xavier there. When she got there she found her way to Rose. She had no where else to go. "hey, " Lia said with a smile.

Skylar had become rather fond of school dances as of late, but only because it gave her an excuse to buy an overpriced dress and strut around reminding people just how sexy she really could be. She hadn't asked Jasper if he was going, but she still wasn't sure where she stood with him. But she had decided not to worry about her relationship drama tonight. Tonight was about dancing with other people's dates and acting like she had nothing to worry about. She strolled into the school gym wearing her new red dress ( click me!) and heels so high that she had great potential to fall on her ass at any moment, except Sky had too much experience with high heels to ever let that happen. She scanned the crowd, but she didn't see anyone that she knew. What she did see, however, was the mistletoe hanging over by the table of food. Sky floated over to the area, and spotted a random boy who she felt like she recognized, but she couldn't put a name with the face. Smirking at him, she took his hand and dragged him under the mistletoe with her, only to stick her tongue down his throat a moment later. What was she even doing? She wasn't completely positive, but it was a lot of fun.

Abby felt like she had lost everyone. She no longer had anyone to really talk to. Everyone seemed to hate her and for a good reason too. Abby even hated herself. So why did she come to the dance? The reason was unknown but that didn't stop her from putting on a pretty dress (x) and going there anyway. She had no one to go to, no one to even talk to. She made her way to the punch and say down after pouring herself a drink. Part of her was wondering why she even bothered to come.

This was Liam's first time out of the house since he had been home. His parents pray I call you begged him to go to the dance so he decides to go. Half the people didn't even know he was back. He just walked in and ignored a bunch of people. He only found one person he wanted to talk to. Ironically the person was Sky. He walked up to her and smiled a fake little smile. "I feel like this is an excuse for girls to dress in fancy dresses and strut around, " Liam said.

Skylar pulled away from the boy she was making out with and he soon scurried away, obviously embarrassed. Sky then spun around when she heard a familiar voice behind her. Liam. Smiling at him, she said, "Of course it is. But what's wrong with that?" Sky's mood was definitely different tonight than it had been recently, but she felt like she was on top of the world. It wasn't really happiness, but it felt good enough.

A dance, innocent enough- or at least that's what he presumed it would be. He was still having trouble getting a proper read on what this town was actually like. Either way, he didn't hesitate to convince Willow into going with him. She put up a fight at first, but eventually came around under the terms that afterwards he'd treat her to ice cream. Childish as it seemed, he agreed. Leon was really a bit too excited for this, and he wasn't too sure why. Not that it mattered, really. Three weeks in the States and he'd finally gotten a proper license and was able to drive him and his sister to the school. His truck wasn't anything too impressive, but he loved it nonetheless. A black Chevy Avalanche, simplistic and sturdy. Much like himself. Parking it with little effort, he hopped out and raced around the front to catch his sister's door, doing the gentlemanly thing and helping her out. Offering the younger girl a reassuring smile, he took her arm and led her towards the school gym. Willow was in a leather-looking dress, squishing her adolescent pudge into womanly curves. Just above the hips poured out a pale black lace imprinted with several bright red roses. Her shoulders were shielded by a thin cardigan shaded the same hue as the petals of the flower on dress, legs painted with a simple pair of charcoal tights and feet clad in a pair of ankle high black heeled boots. Her lengthy chesnut waves were pulled back out of her face, the first few strands of hair tucked into a clip at the center of her head, holding them hostage as she pranced along side Leon. Now he was dressed in a simple black button up, dress jacket, and slacks. His tie was a pale pearl color, and his shoes were suede. He just looked classy, his combed back locks, neatly trimmed facial hair and gentle smile completing the look. Side by side, arm in arm, they walked through the breathtakingly decorated halls and into the gym. Holding his sister close, he looked over the room in awe, lips sealed as he cast a soft glare over the festive room. It was beautiful, really, and he was glad he got to share this moment with little Willow. His warm brown eyes scanning the chatting crowd he spotted out a few people he knew, but didn't catch their eye. They were all too busy with their activities, talking to friends. The last person he spotted was Rose, who was talking to a shorter girl, clearly busy so he didn't dare intervene. Rather, he let Willow walk off to find one of her friends as he made his way towards the bundle of tables along the walls for dancers to take breaks at. On his way there, he nearly bumped into a brunette with wickedly blue eyes and a charming smile. He didn't know who she was personally, but he knew Rose knew her- he'd seen them walking in the halls together and what not. Offering her a friendly grin, he introduced himself since she seemed to be lonely in this swarm of people. "I'm Leon," most people knew of him, the new British kid with a pesky little sister, "You're Rose's friend, right?" It was a decent ice breaker, hopefully they could make a conversation out of it.

Rose looked up at the voice of Lia and smiled at her friend, they were slowly picking their friendship back together a fact which was a huge relief for Rose. She couldn't lose her best friend, especially since Lia was just an adorable little sugar plum. "You look so nice," Rose told her with a smile, the two pieces of curled hair that were left down outside of her up-do tickling her face. As Rose looked around she spotted Leon with Iris and felt herself smile again, it was about time Leon made some new friends, he was the ideal kind of friend. The next thing Rose noticed though made her freeze, frozen in place as her face paled slightly.
Liam. He was back? Did Lia know that, Rose doubted so otherwise she'd probably be over there with Skylar and Liam. "Lia," Rose breathed, finally regaining composure as she snapped her attention back to her friend. "When the hell did Liam get back?" An unexplained panic set over Rose.

Iris stumbled slightly as she just about dodged someone bumping into her, luckily, she managed to avoid both crashing into the guy and falling flat on her butt which was surprising to say the least. She was just about to apologise and let the guy get on his way, probably to look for his date or something, when he introduced himself and started a conversation. It was unexpected, but she didn't mind- it was either talking to the new, seemingly friendly British guy or spending the evening here bored and alone, so she smiled up at the guy and replied. "I'm Iris, and yeah, we're friends" Well, she was pretty sure they'd salvaged their friendship after talking in the library the other day. Iris no longer unnecessarily disliked her what she'd done, and she was pretty sure Rose had never hated her at all, so, in her opinion, they were back to being friends.

"Real funny, " lia said turning around. "You really expect me to beloved that-" she stopped talking and looked at Liam. "Liam's back, " Lia said quietly. "He didn't tell me. He didn't tell anybody. Wow just wow, " Lia said she turned the other way. She was pissed at Liam. He didn't even care.

"then why do guys go to these? " Liam asked. He laughed a little and looked over at Lia and Rose then back at Sky. "is Jasper coming?" Liam asked. He wasn't sure if he should leave or not part of him wanted to.

Skylar laughed. "Because it's fun to watch you guys drool over us," she said, winking at Liam. Then she shrugged at his next question. "Dunno. We...we haven't really been talking." Skylar twirled her hair around her index finger, a nervous tick that was her tell whenever she wasn't telling someone something. Anyone who knew her well enough could tell that. Trouble was, there weren't many who did. --- Xavier had come to the dance with Lia, which was really the only reason he'd bothered showing up. He wasn't a big fan of dances, but Lia liked them so he put up with them for her. Lia was chatting with Rose, and Xavier spotted Abby by the punch table. He kissed Lia's cheek and told her that he was going to go say hi to her. "Hey," Xavier said. "Surprised to see you here."

Abby turned around when she heard someone's voice. She looked at him and shrugged. "Not really sure why I'm here...not really sure why you're talking to me..." Abby didn't mean it in a mean way. It was more like she figured everyone hated her. She saw Liam talking to Sky and then looked back at Xavier.
She didn't come here to kill Liam. Her family kept telling her to kill him. She just ran her hand through her hair nervously.

Xavier sighed, recalling their fight a few weeks ago. He sighed, running his hands through his hair before his remembered the ridiculous amount of gel he'd put in it. "Look," he said. "Your decisions are your decisions. I may not agree with them, but you're my best friend. And you haven't done anything yet, so until you do, I don't see why I should pretend to hate you."
