Tyler was about to get off work for the day. He had been there all day and wanted to go home. This was his only afternoon off. One more order that was it then he was free. He was sad though because he didn't get to see Kaie, he was almost worried. That was until he walked in. ---
Ari noticed the flirting going on between Kai and Tyler and she couldn't help but fully support it and ship it. "Hey Tyler I gotta go to the bathroom can you work up front real quick?" Tyler nodded. -- "Sure," he said with a smile. He then saw Kai come up the guy he had been flirting with. Suddenly Tyler felt really nervous. "Hi can I take your order?" Tyler asked with an ethuastic smile.

Kai wasn't actually a big coffee drinker, but ever since the one day he'd come to Starbucks with a friend and met an extremely cute barista, he'd made an effort to go there almost every day at the same time in hopes of seeing him. He'd only missed him a few days, and he was glad to see that today wasn't one of those days. "You you can," Kai said with a wink. "Hazelnut macchiato, please." Kai wasn't sure if Tyler (who's name he only knew because of his name tag) actually realized that he was flirting with him, but he didn't really care. He was straight for all Kai knew, but it made him happy getting to make small talk with him every day. It was all of the simple things that Kai enjoyed.

Tyler blushed a little at Kai. He looked down at the machine and put in the order while boring his lip," size?" Tyler asked.
Ari came back when she heardTyler was almost done. She's let him finish the order then jump back in.
Tyler met eyes with Kai. Tyler was debating doing something that would get him fired if someone found out. Tyler was always the good kid but part of him wanted to see if it was worth it.

"Oh right. Medium," he said. Kai kept staring into Tyler's eyes just to see if he would stare back. That and he had really pretty eyes. Part of him felt like he was just fooling himself, that Tyler had no interest in him and probably thought he was some kind of stalker.

Tyler finished the order after Jaie paid and then Ari came back. He began making Kai's drink and under his name he wrote his number on it. After handing it to Kai he quickly walked away to clock out.
He was afraid of seeing Kai again. He was on his way out after he noticed Kai was gone. He began to go on his phone texting someone when he ran straight into someone who apparently had coffee which got all over both of them. Tyler looked up and noticed it was Kai. "Oh my god. I am so sorry,". Tyler said feeling extremely awkward.

Kai was standing outside of the building drinking his coffee and smiling as he noticed Tyler's number written on the cup. He was about to start walking back to his house when he accidentally walked right into someone, spilling his coffee all over him. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," he said, and when he looked up he realized it was Tyler. "Oh uh hey..." They'd never actually had a real conversation, but there was a first time for everything.

"I-I can make you a new one for free I am so sorry. I just I wasn't looking where I was going," Tyler said quietly. He had never been shy but this was a cute boy. A cute boy who actually flirted with him. Now? Now Tyler just scared cute boy off. He shifted awkwardly while waiting for Kai to answer.

Kai shook his head. "It's fine, don't worry about it," he said. Kai then got an idea and he couldn't resist it. "Actually I know how you could make it up to me. How about you go to dinner with me on Friday?" Kai had a habit of being awkwardly forward, but he didn't think Tyler would mind.

"Huh?" Tyler asked in disbelief. Cute boy was asking him of all people out. No, no where were the cameras? This had to be a joke. At least, that's what Tyler thought. Not many people asked Tyler out. He glanced up at Kai.

Kai looked down, slightly embarrassed. "I mean, nevermind. You don't have to. I'm sorry about the coffee," Kai said. But wait, why did he write his number on his cup? It didn't make any sense. But Kai didn't want to throw himself at someone who didn't want him.

"No no that's not. I didn't mean it like that. I'd love to go out with you on Friday," Tyler said. He wasn't sure how to explain that he was just confused as to why someone would ask him. He smiled nervously at Kai.

Kai looked up and then smiled. "Great," he said, grinning. "I, uh, I'll text you." Kai felt like he was on cloud nine. He stood there, shuffling his feet a bit as he wondered whether he should walk away yet or not.

Kai smirked slightly. "I'll see you soon, Tyler," he said, then spun on his heels and walked away despite having coffee spilled down the front of his shirt. He was too happy to really care too much.
