Liam had been gone for three weeks now. Xavier had searched for him as often as he could, but he hadn't found anything. He had come to the conclusion that finding him was going to require someone with much better senses than himself. A werewolf. The idea of working with a werewolf was sickening to Xavier, whose pride was always put above anything else (except for his love for Lia, which is why he agreed to ask the werewolves for help). He'd spoken to a few of Liam's friends as well, the useful ones anyway. He arranged for their little search party to meet out by the woods, and then they'd split up into teams from there and start searching.

Skylar didn't love Liam by any standards. In fact, most of the time the two of them spent together consisted of bickering with each other. But when it came down to it, Skylar considered Liam a friend. She trusted him, and that wasn't something that happened very often anymore. So when Sky caught word of him being missing, of course she would do anything she could to find him. Arriving at the woods, she spotted Xavier and rolled her eyes. "So you're in charge of this? Do you even know Liam?" she said. The only reason Sky ever tolerated Xavier was because of Lia, but when she wasn't around there was nothing holding her back.
---
"Actually, I do," he said. "And he means a lot to Lia. Not to mention the fact that if a hunter's captured him, I'd like to know about it. Does it really matter though? We need all the help we can get." Xavier wasn't a big fan of Sky, but he really didn't know what she had against him. Either way, there was a mutual dislike between the two of them.
