Myra had been ignoring Nate because she didn't feel the need to drag him down with her just because his parents hated her. She found herself in the preserver trying to think when she heard a twig crack. She turned her head to see a hunter. He shot her in the leg with the a silver arrow. "Ow!" Myra couldn't help but yell out. He took it out despite how much pain it out her in and since it was silver it'd take awhile to heal.
She hit the guy in the nose an the other guy in the jaw. It made the two pass out and Myra ran as best as she could with blood oozing down her leg. She finally stopped under a tree and took off her jacket and wrapped it around her leg an leaned back against the tree she wa ready to pass out. She closed her eyes and tried not to actually fall asleep.

Nate was walking home from a tutoring session with a hyperactive fourth grader, and he was thoroughly exhausted. It had been a long day, but when Nate saw Myra sitting alone by a tree, he knew it was about to get even longer. Why she wasn't speaking to him, he wasn't really sure. He could only assume it had to do with their family dinner, but Nate thought he'd made it clear that his parents' opinion of her had no effect on his. But maybe she didn't believe him. Either way, he wasn't going to give up this opportunity to find out.
"Myra," he said as he walked up to her. "How've you--Oh my God, what happened to you?" Nate noticed Myra's leg, and he immediately kneeled down next to her.

Myra groaned a little When she heard Nate. "There were hunters in fine." Myra said. She crossed her arms and looked over the lake. Maybe if she ignored he'd go away and wouldn't have burden if actually knowing her.

Nate raised an eyebrow at her. "Are you sure?" he asked. "Let me at least look at it." Nate didn't know what good looking at it would do, considering it would heal eventually either way, but it still worried him. It worried him more that Myra didn't seem to want him there.

"It'll heal," Myra said quietly. She didn't want to hurt Nate's feelings but he also didn't want everyone looking st him weird because Myra was his girlfriend. She pushed some hair behind her ear. She wasn't going to start crying because then he'd know she was doing this on purpose. She ran her hands through her nervously and just stated at the ground because found that easier look at.

Nate sat back and bit his lip nervously. "Are you okay?" he asked. "And I don't just mean your leg. You haven't talked to me in days, Myra." Nate was honestly worried, and if something was going on with Myra, he wanted to know about it. Even if it was just him, he wanted to know.

Nate sighed. "Then why have you been avoiding me?" he asked. It was probably better not to beat around the bush anymore, since Myra was probably going to do anything she could not to answer him.

"Because..." Myra said quietly. She looked down at the ground and wrapped her arms around her legs. "I don't want you to get in trouble with your parents..." Myra said queitly again. She was lost in her thoughts now she was completely terrified of what Nate would say. Myra pushed her hair behind her ear and braced herself for Nate's response.

Nate raised an eyebrow at Myra. "Don't you get it, Myra?" he said. "You are so much more important to me than anything. There's nothing my parents could do to make me change my mind about how I feel about you." Nate was afraid that he was losing Myra, and that was one of the worst fears he'd ever had.

"But your parent's opinion should matter and they don't like me or my brother..." Myra said quietly. She glanced down at the ground and stuck a lose strand of her behind her ear she continued to look the other way to hide the sad look on her face. She loved Nate she was sure she did but his patents hated her it didn't matter.

Nate shook his head. "My parent's opinion would matter if it were based off of something that wasn't completely asinine. They don't like you because they think your brother turned my brother gay. If that's not stupid, then I don't know what is." Nate put a hand on Myra's shoulder trying to get through to her in any way that he possibly could.

Myra looked somewhat over at Nate. "And don't you see Nate. We're not ever going to be normal I'm a were with a gay brother and parents who I hate and. Sister I would gladly kill given the chance. That's not normal Nate. I'm not normal. And the worst unnormal thing about you is your brother and niece are werewolves. I never even grew up watching tv I grew up training and watching little kids. Don't you see Nate? We're not right for each other because I'm nor will I ever be anything close to normal." Myra said. She didn't know what led her to say all of that.
She stood up even though her leg hurt so badly and the jacket was now drenched in her blood. "I should just go," Myra said quietly.

Nate put a hand on Myra's cheek and basically forced her to actually look at him. "Myra, I don't care about normal. I care about you," he said. He couldn't think of anything else that he could possibly say to her. Losing her was the worst thought in the world to him, and he wasn't going to let her give up.

"But you should care what your parents think they've been there for you you're whole life. You should take advantage of that," Myra said quietly.
"I don't want to be the reason you break your parents trust with you," Myra said.
