Ozkar hadn't been in Beacon Hills that long, but already he was starting to settle down there. The town was easy enough to figure out; there weren't that many dark passages or hidden buildings. The people were Oz's favourite kind, too - all a little too nosy into everybody else's business, and the few that weren't just had a few too many secrets of their own to ever dare let them slip. Having said that, it was still a new time, which meant he had a lot of catching up to do and, hell, if that meant kidnapping a few high schoolers along the way, he'd do it. It'd been unsurprisingly easy, tracking down a pupil of the local high school that seemed like they'd know enough to be interrogated, but also wasn't going to be one of those people that was determined to be the next martyr for whatever stupid cause they thought was worthy. But, then again, Ozkar had been doing this sort of thing long enough to not really have to think about it anymore; it was practically natural instinct.
In the end, he'd chosen Iris Weata. She was an easy target, and she knew just the right people to make things interesting. It wasn't even hard to take her either, he'd literally just waited until school was over, followed her home and then knocked her out whilst no one was looking. Everything had been almost too easy, but Oz knew he wasn't quite out of the woods yet. He still needed to get actually, decent information out of the kid, because if he didn't the whole thing would've been pointless and he'd be back to square one... Oz wasn't a big fan of wasted efforts.
Lazily, he sat, baseball bat in hand, against a big the wall of one of the warehouses of the District, having already handcuffed Iris to a metal railing that ran across the side of the room, next to the stairs. The girl was only human, so it wasn't like she was going to get out of them any time soon. Now all he needed was for her to wake up, and boy did he hope it was soon - he forgot how boring kidnapping was when the victim was sleeping. Oh well - at least he could play 2048 on his phone whilst he waited.

What had actually happened Iris didn't know. She'd been walking home from school, as per usual, but at some point during that short journey something had happened, and now instead of sitting in her familiar room she was waking up in a very unfamiliar warehouse, incredibly confused and incredibly scared. But despite her fear telling her to run as far as she could away, she kept as still as possible for as long as possible while she looked around sleepily, though there was nothing to really indicate why she was here- apart from the man sitting in the place with her, looking a lot calmer then she probably did. Then she noticed his bat, and another wave of fear spread through her.
That second flood of fear caused her to finally tug on the handcuffs that kept her glued to where she was, and also probably alerted the strange man to her awakening, if he hadn't already realised. In that moment she didn't care if he did realise or not, though, she was just so desperate to get out that her attention was lost to pulling on the handcuffs, even if she knew her attempts at getting free were completely futile.

Ozkar had resorted to flappy bird by the time he heard the jangle of metal against metal, and knew that the poor girl was awake now, either that or she just moved a lot whilst unconscious, which he highly doubted. Looking up at her slowly, he let slip a long sigh as he shoved his phone slowly back in his pocket, gaze flickering quickly up to the girl and back again, almost as if he expected her to disappear whilst he wasn't looking. Eventually, he pulled himself up to sit up straight, running his finger lazily across the bat before finally drawling, "I was about to break my high score, way to wake up at an awkward time." Flashing her a bored smile, he continued to watch her, gaze almost bored as he waited for her to say something, anything really. She must have questions, surely? he figured he may as well give her a chance to talk before he anything else.

Iris eventually let her attention move to the guy, realising that there was no way she could actually get out of the handcuffs just by herself. Where was Jasper or Liam when you needed them? She pushed the thought aside, as, obviously, she had much more to worry about right now. She could leave hoping someone would save her until later. For now she let a glare settled on her pretty features, she may be scared and confused, but that didn't stop a flare of anger bursting in her at his words. It still astounded her how heartless some people could be. She didn't speak for a minute or so, but it quickly became apparent he wasn't going to speak either, so she took assumed he was waiting for her. Unable to think of anything more original, which was hardly surprising in her situation, she just asked "What the hell is going on?" Unfortunately the slight crack in her voice gave away her fear, and for that she wanted to kick herself, but she didn't, instead she just chose to ignore the crack and stare back at the man, praying he'd actually give her an answer.

And there it was, the question he'd been expecting, even if it did take her a little longer to ask than the average kidnap victim. Oh well, she got there in the end, right? That's what mattered. Fingers finally resting against the bat, he let out a small sigh before finally replying, managing to sound about as bored as he felt with the girl already, the non violent part of kidnapping was always the most boring. "You've been kidnapped, sorry about that, love." He shrugged his shoulder's lightly, gaze now brushing to look around the room, "I mean, it didn't have to be you, but your friend Liam was busy after school, and I really couldn't be arsed waiting, so..." He trailed off, now looking back at her before quickly following it up with, "any more painfully obvious questions?"

That had been completely useless. It was hardly even an answer to her question, he'd just told her what she had already guessed, which didn't help at all and honestly just lead to more confusion. She stared at him for a moment again, a mix of emotions plain which all created a frown. She couldn't help something in the back of her mind wondering how he was being so calm, possibly bored, after he'd just kidnapped someone, but she didn't let that thought linger in her mind for long, as words were already leaving her mouth, well, a word. "Why?" She asked, she assumed it was a 'painfully obvious question', but that didn't stop her wanting to know the answer to it. What the hell was this guy hoping to gain from kidnapping her? Out everyone in Beacon Hills, she defiantly seemed like one of the least obvious people to bother with, especially since it seemed like he might know about the supernatural side of everything.

Ozkar resisted the urge to just sigh again, part of him wondering if the girl was even listening to a word he was saying - probably not, he guessed. Oh well. He'd get her to listen one way or another, even if he did actually have to use the bat in his hand (which, truth be told, he wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to , nothing ruined a good bat quite like blood stains). He resorted to shaking his head, slowly pulling himself up off the ground and walking over to her, shuffling around until he was sat next to her before pulling out a pack of cigarettes, slipping one into his mouth before offering her the packet, even if he doubted she'd take one. He knew a smoker when he saw one and she, well, definitely wasn't. Deciding that if she really wanted one she could get it herself, he dropped the packet onto his knee, fingers now moving to light the cigarette in his mouth as he explained, "you see," he took a drag from the cigarette, "it's really quite simple. I'm new in town, and I really can't be arsed going out of my way to learn who the hell isn't human and who does what and who's in charge, so I figured you could just tell me." He paused again, wicked grin slowly passing over his lips as he turned to look at her, "because, if you don't, I guess I'll just have to kill you, which sucks because I really don't want to get blood on my new shoes."

Iris watched the man walk towards her, her stomach practically lurching with every step he took, she wanted to be as far away from him as possible, so she defiantly wasn't a fan of him deciding to move closer to her. Shuffling as far away from him as possible when he settled down next to her, she directed her vision to the concrete floor, her jaw clenching as she completely ignored his cigarette offer. Even after his explanation she still didn't understand why, out of everyone she'd come to know in the last few weeks, she was the one that he'd taken. She knew nearly nothing, she'd only just found out about werewolves and hunters and kanimas, and everything else that fit into that category. She was probably still in the dark about things, too, so what he thought he'd get from her she didn't know. She swallowed her fear, even though she knew (or liked to think) his threat was just empty, it still scared her. "I don't even know anything. There are enough hunters around, why not just ask on of them all this? It'd be a lot less effort" She said, her eyes coming up to look at him for a second before fluttering back down to the floor.
