After being away from Beacon Hills for little over a year, it was inevitable that Eva started looking around. This fact was especially bought on by the fact that some of the people at school looked as if a bomb was about to go off any moment. Saturday morning chill was pushing through the woods, a hint of autumn in the air, fog tangled with the bark of the trees and Eva was glad that she'd bought her red coat, at least she'd be spotted if someone else happened to be up so early on a Saturday. Rubbing her hands together to generate a fraction of heat, Eva cast a glance over her shoulder, to see how far she'd come, it was hard to tell - impossible even. Stupid trees all looking the same. Eva thought grumpily although she had bought this walk upon herself, so she couldn't exactly blame anyone. Eyes latching onto a particular tree, Eva was certain that there was a red flash of blood splattered at the bottom of the trunk. Stumbling back slightly, Eva reassured herself that it had just been some rabbit and a fox. Still, it was uneasy, soon after Eva spotted more blood: on leaves, on bark, a big stripe along the ground as if someone had been running and had fallen/. Swallowing in a lungful of air, Eva turned around and started heading the other way, it was then that she heard heavy breathing. Already worked up from the blood, Eva froze, hands wrapping around her shoulders in a somewhat protective stance.

Iris hadn't been able to sleep much since the incident at school even though everything was getting back to normal now. The images of that kanima still haunted her dreams every now and again, meaning she'd been waking up earlier then usual. She'd managed to get out of the habit of going for runs, and she'd decided she should probably get back into it, especially if something tried to attack her or her friends again. It was also a good time to think, or not think, and the preserve just added too that so that's where she'd come today. But she'd spoted blood on things about half way through and decided she didn't want to risk going any further, so she'd turned back, walking as she caught her breath again. That's when she spotted a frozen figure a little bit away from her, and she took cautious baby steps over "Excuse me? Are you okay?" She asked. Maybe she had something to do with the blood?

Probably, Eva was most likely okay perhaps still mildly shocked but this girl probably hadn't even seen the blood anyway. So, there was no need to sound like a crazy person. This girl... Eva was certain she had a name; Iris something or other. "I'm grand," Eva replied a few moments later, walking slowly towards her. "Are you, you look like you think I've done something?" Maybe she did, most people had heard the stories of Eva's leaving party, Eva herself could hardly remember the night and had relied on other people's stories. For all she knew this girl could have gone to it.

The girl, Eva she thought her name was, was acting rather strange, but maybe it was that she'd seen the blood back there too, or maybe she was just rather strange. She didn't say that, though, and instead worked out where she knew the girl from-school- it wasn't like she would have met her anywhere else. "I'm fine. It's just that there was blood back there, and i was wondering if you were hurt or something" She explained, quickly scanning the girl for injuries but she seemed to be completely fine.
