"Maybe everyone else is drunk and I'm actually sober," Jasper insisted, a lightly chuckle escaping his lips as he eventually actually looked up at her again, honestly torn between smiling at her and just burying his head in her shoulder, as he could actually do that on the days when she wore heels (which, in Jasper's opinion, was way too often, but that may just be because he quite liked being tall). Glancing around the room, his gaze flickered to Iris, and he flashed her a small smile, quickly deciding he was thinking way too much to actually talk to her, because he'd only end up spilling his secrets to her too, and something told him that telling someone you killed your own dad wasn't exactly a way to keep the friendship (and maybe relationship, he had no idea) healthy. That was the reason he stuck to Sky, because he was honestly just scared of saying too much, and he didn't want to fuck anything up more than he already had, because that seemed to be all he was good at doing lately.

Iris was about to say something to Sky, just to keep the conversation going, but that's when Jasper turned up. She smiled at him as he joined them, hugging him back quickly before he moved on to Sky. It was then that she quickly realised it was probably her turn to play the third wheel that night, as he hugged her for what was nearly a weird amount of time. "Well, i'm gonna get a drink" She told them, as she honestly felt a bit awkward just standing there. Then, she turned and walked away, not really sure what she was going to do now but she didn't think it was right to stay there.

Skylar laughed a little at Jasper's response. Then she turned to watch Iris leave. "Something going on between you two?" she asked, since she wouldn't have expected Iris to run off like that unless something happened that Sky had yet to find out about. Or maybe Iris just didn't want to stick around when Jasper seemed so focused on her, she wasn't sure. It was funny, though. Skylar had been completely in love with Jasper for so long, and she hated that he never gave her a whole lot of attention, but now that he actually was she had no idea what to do with herself. But she just decided to down her drink and see where this headed, since that was her usual plan at parties.

Braydon picked up his phone and called Nate he explained that he was drunk and he just wanted to go home. He just looked at Blake and had no idea what to say. He just felt really upset and he didn't know why, well he did but he felt like he shouldn't be that upset.

Nate was sitting at home by himself watching a documentary, as usual, when he got a call from Braydon asking to come pick him up because he was drunk. That was Nate, always the designated driver. But he didn't mind. He'd rather Braydon call him then try to drive, especially after what happened with Mason. He got in his car and started driving to the house, and he texted Braydon that he was there. Then he just waited.

Jasper took a minute to think about it, realising he didn't actually know how to explain what was going on between them, partly because he didn't know and partly because he was a little too scared to find out. Sometimes it felt she was nothing to him, and others it felt like he'd do anything he could just to make sure that she was okay - it made no sense. And yet, at the same time, he knew that it wouldn't work, even though he wanted it to, because he just held on to so many secrets and lies; it was a wonder he even had friends. He knew he wouldn't be thinking this way sober, and yet he honestly couldn't help it. Pulling Sky back into a hug, he bit his lip for a minute before silently moving away, taking her hand and leading her away from all the crowds of people. He didn't know what was going on with his head, but he sure as hell didn't want everyone around to find out.

Jasper's actions were even more confusing than they normally were, which Skylar wrote off to be a side effect of the alcohol that was coursing through both of their bodies. Though, Skylar wasn't really drunk. She was tipsy, at most. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked, honestly concerned at this point. Jasper was usually the type to get drunk and end up in a dark corner with a girl somewhere, not with her. Unless...no. No way. She couldn't let herself think that way. It would just get her hurt, and she was sure of that. Jasper was probably just having a hard time, and Skylar needed to be there for him. Nothing more, nothing less.

Something was off with Braydon, that much Blake could actually tell. What exactly it was? He had no clue - that was just another problem for future Blake, who present Blake actually felt a little sorry for, because he was currently a little too high to even think about what was going on and, even if the thoughts had occurred to him, he really wasn't fussed either way. Honestly, he just wanted pancakes (and chicken dippers, but he had a feeling that he was asking for a little too much with that one). Lazily, he took Braydon's hand and wandered to the door, letting Braydon be the look out for Nate's car as he tried to figure out exactly how tall Braydon was, because he was positive that he was taller than Mason's short+2 inches, so did that make him +3inches or +4? Blake didn't know, he really wasn't very good at maths. All he knew was that he had to stand on his tip toes to kiss him, and so he did, noses gently brushing together as he wound his arms around Braydon's waist, grinning cheekily at him.

Braydon couldn't help but kiss Blake back even though he didn't really want to we'll he did but he was trying to convince himself he didn't want to. Luckily Nate came at the right moment because braydon was ready just to have sex with Blake despite how much he wanted to cry.

Exactly where he was taking Skylar, Jasper wasn't actually sure. He'd been in Trick's house enough times to know his way around, even if he had only ever really been to her bedroom. That wasn't his fault, right? Probably. Maybe. He didn't know. His friendship with Trick was weird, even at the best of times. But, then again, Jasper had never really had a normal friendship. They ended up at the end of the garden, Trick had an old wooden swing there from when they were little, but she'd let the garden go a little bit all the way down there, so it was dense with trees and grass. It didn't matter, if anything it just helped make the area warmer, like you could imagine it being a cringey setting in a romantic film if someone added fairy lights. Sitting down on the swing, Jasper proceeded to stare blankly at the ground in front of him, not quite sure what to say or how to say it. There was just too much, and there was so little time, and honestly? Jasper couldn't understand why Skylar would even care, after all, he'd killed her dad...

Blake finally pulled away, pressing a short kiss against his cheek before finally looking out the window, eyes narrowing slightly as he realised that Nate was here, which meant it was actually time to go. Grabbing Braydon's hand, he stumbled outside, almost falling down the stairs as he tried his perception of where the stairs where in relation to his feet completely broken. His hand slipped out of Braydon's as he tumbled to the floor, biting his lip before turning and looking back up at Braydon, feeling a little bad for falling in the first place. He'd be okay though, right? So there was nothing to worry about, even if he had a feeling Braydon would be overly cautious anyway.

Braydon went by Blake's side when he fell down the stairs. He helped him up. "Are you okay?" Braydon asked. Even drunk he was always a concerned loving boyfriend.

Skylar just decided to go with whatever it was Jasper was doing, honestly afraid to leave him alone like this. Skylar stood next to Jasper, one of her hands wrapped around the rope holding the swing. "Did something happen?" she asked, wondering if Jasper was actually going to give her any answers. He was obviously out of it, but Skylar couldn't pinpoint why. There was a lot going on in his life, that much she knew, so maybe he was just cracking under everything that was happening. Whatever it was, she wasn't going to leave him until she found out. She would always be there to talk about their shitty lives. It was what best friends did, right? If they were even best friends anymore. It was hard to tell these days.

"I'm fine," Blake insisted, flashing Braydon a grin as he pulled himself up off the ground, gaze flickering around to see exactly who saw that, and so exactly how many people he'd have to lie to tomorrow about just how drunk he'd been, because obviously that was the reason he fell over. Other than being maybe slightly very intoxicated (well, high, but it counted), there was nothing wrong with Blake, right? He quietly brushed himself down before finally finding Braydon's hand again and getting in the car, figuring that the quicker they got home, the faster he'd end up getting pancakes, and maybe some cuddling if Braydon wasn't too pissed off with him.

Jasper didn't reply for a while, still trying to sift through his thoughts until he figured exactly what to say, knowing that there wouldn't be much that actually made sense. After all, nothing had actually happened. For all intensive purposes, Jasper was fine - he was coping. Levi was alive and okay, Iris didn't hate him, and Skylar and Trick were still his friends, even after years of screwing them (sometimes literally). With the exception of the hunters, nothing was going wrong. And yet Jasper couldn't escape the guilt. He'd never felt like this before, hell, he'd never even had to think about if before. He didn't care about people, that's not what he did, and yet recently he'd felt like the guilt of everything going on was going to burn him alive. He couldn't do it. He couldn't live like this.
"How do you not hate me?" he suddenly blurted, knowing it didn't answer her question, but not knowing what else to say. He was just too confused to think straight, and was too scared of his own head to even really try and figure it out for himself.
