It wasn't the first time, nor would it probably be the last time that Iris was in detention, but as usual she got some odd looks when she'd walked into the classroom for detention that day. Sighing, she looked around and saw only one other person in there so she chose a seat and sat down with a sigh, wishing she was anywhere else then here. Obviously, it was her own fault, she'd been slipping in her classes a bit- falling asleep every now and again, forgetting to do homework, then not coming into school at all one day... her teachers were beginning to get really done with her, and one teacher had decided they'd actually had enough, so she'd ended up with detention. She wasn't sure exactly who else was meant to be here, though she was pretty sure at least one person she was friends with had said they'd gotten detention, she just wasn't sure when or where there's was. Slipping off her coat she glanced the the door, wondering who else would be coming today.

See, Rose didn't intend to get detention and her actions hadn't been with the intent to come across as spiteful when she'd fallen asleep in class whilst her teacher was giving a long, tedious and quite frankly, pointless lecture about homeostasis or homo sapiens, Rose hadn't been paying that much attention to notice which topic the old cow had been babbling on about. Recently Rose had just been staying up late, talking to her brother or her sister who had taken to brooding quietly in her room. So there Rose was, five minutes for detention already with her hair swinging around her shoulders and a bottle of water in her hand which had just been refilled and as a result, Rose had ended up with a wet hand with no place to dry it. Sauntering into detention Rose quickly spied Iris and then another student both of them sat apart. Sliding into the seat next to her friend, Rose - not so gently - placed her water bottle down and then flashed a smile to Iris. "My, my, my, what are you doing here?"

To be fair Liam was being an annoying shit. It wasnt Erik's fault the fucker was so annoying. Now because of this idiotic fucker he was in Dention. He walked in and spotted two girls part of Jasper's pack. He smirked and sat at the desk next to Rose. "You're Liam's little girlfriend aren't you?" Erik asked with a smirk. They all knew who he was. He was the asshole who liked to fuck with their whole pack.
Erik didn't really care though. He liked to fuck with people and since he couldn't do that literally he did it figuratively.
---
Liam was annoyed. He was beyond annoyed. He never got in trouble. Erik knew how to push all his buttons. He got in Dention and saw Rose and Iris there. Then he noticed Erik. His eyes glowed at him and he sat down in front of Rose and Iris. "How'd you two get here?" Liam asked ignoring the asshole that sat next to his girlfriend.

Iris perked up slightly when she noticed Rose walking into the room, and she felt a smile appear on her lips. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as she'd thought originally. Maybe. She knew it would still be boring, but with Rose here at least they could find some sort of way to kill to boredom. "They found out i skipped school that one day. What about you?" She asked. With Rose you never really knew what to expect- she could be in here for any reason. Had she started a fight or was she singing Disney in class? It could be either of those, or anything in between.
She noticed another pair walking into class, making the total of detention goers 5. She couldn't help but grimace slightly at the sight of Erik sitting down next to Rose. She honestly couldn't understand why he was so annoying, or why he was so insistent on annoying Jasper and his pack (which for some reason included people like Iris and Rose, apparently, though she didn't understand why). Instead of focusing on Erik and letting him get her mood down, she turned to focus on Liam. "I bunked. What about you?" She asked back. All she could tell was he looked pissed off, and it was pretty hard to get Liam to look that annoyed.

"Well," Rose began as Iris asked her the same question, "I fell asleep in class whilst my teacher was giving us some important information or something-" Rose broke off then when a new person walked into the classroom. Oh great, Erik was here now too and to make matters better, he chose to sit next to her. Shooting him a quick glare, Rose tried to ignore his comment but she'd never really been good at that kind of thing. "If you value your head, I would recommend shutting up." Rose hissed, one hand curling into a quick fist before sliding her chair an inch or so further away from him. Eyes darting up at the next person to enter the room, Rose was quick to smile, anger fizzling out of her briefly before she noted the glow of Liam's eyes and just the fact that, well, he seemed off. "I decided to have a nap in class," Rose told him quickly before saying, "what's wrong?" In a more hushed tone, it took a lot to make Liam that mad.

"He got in a fight with me," Erik said. The fight was about a bunch of things. First it was about Liam's brother, then it was about his little sister, and then it was about Rose. They were quick to start fighting and it took like 4 administrators to get them off of each other. They both got detention.
Erik pulled out his phone to text Kai. That was until the teacher saw it and took it away. He pulled his try closer to the little clique going on. "So what're we talking about?" Erik asked knowing it'd annoy Liam.
--- Liam nearly growled. He wanted to pound Erik's face. He wouldn't mind watching Erik bleed. Liam went back to his group of friends and ignored Erik. "I got in a fight," he said acting like Erik said nothing. "You got dentition just for sleeping in class?"

Whilst spitballing a teacher seventeen times in one lesson wasn't quite enough to ground getting detention (or, that's what his teacher seemed to think), answering back definitely was. It was one thing to own up to the crime of using your teacher's head as target practice, but to then claim that it was in practice for the Spitball Olympics, and that you needed all the practice you could get if you were going to get gold again? Well, clearly that was just plain out of order, especially if it was followed up with a comment about the size of said teacher's head being so big, that targeting it was probably pointless anyway... Sometimes, Jasper just didn't know how to keep his mouth shut and stay out of things. Still, he couldn't complain too much. After all, it's not like detention was that painful - it's not like he sacrificing anything major to be here - all the guy's extra curricular activities revolved around sports, and there was no way the coach was going to drop him any time soon. And so there Jasper was, sauntering into the classroom, bag hooked lazily over one of his shoulders before he threw it under one of the desks and sat down, gaze automatically spinning to Liam, Iris and Rose? What the fuck were they doing here? Erik, he could understand, they'd seen each other in detention time after time, but the other three? They didn't get detention... Ever.
"This is detention, right? I haven't walked into the abstinence club or anything?" he asked, only almost joking. What they were all doing here, he didn't know, but he didn't really mind either. After all, it might actually make the period of time seem to go faster, even if he had to be graced with Erik's presence.

Post by Skylar Rosemary on Apr 11, 2015 16:17:14 GMT
Detention. Skylar had managed to keep herself out of detention for almost three whole years now (excluding the one time she got detention for being tardy freshman year), but this time she definitely didn't deserve it. While in a discussion about The Great Gatsby, Skylar had gotten bored of listening to her closed-minded teacher droll on and on about how much she dislikes the book because she "hates the characters". Her teacher had caught her sitting on her phone instead of listening to the lesson, so she called her out on it, asking her, "Miss Rosemary, do you have anything that you would like to add to the discussion?" Skylar smirked at the old women, simply stating, "I think that your basis for hating the book is completely flawed."
The women looked at her as if she had just told her she was an alien from some undiscovered planet. "I bed your PARDON?!?" she asked her, her voice croaking on the last word.
Skylar just shrugged. "The characters in Gatsby aren't likable. That's kind of the whole point. The book is about the corruption of the American dream, and the characters are just examples of that. The characters aren't meant to be relatable. You're supposed to hate them." Skylar knew what she was saying wasn't some big new revelation, but everyone in her class didn't seem to, and they all started clapping for her. She knew that it had nothing to do with what she had said and more to do with the fact that she just told her teacher off.
And so there she was, serving her detention that she had tried so hard to get out of. But at least she wasn't alone. Jasper, Rose, Liam, and Iris were all there. And then there was Erik. Skylar had no idea where she stood with Erik anymore, especially since the party. She figured it would be better to just avoid him. "Hey," Sky said, walking over next to Jasper. "Isn't it lovely seeing you guys here." She laughed a little, not bothering to ask why they were there, mostly because it didn't really matter to her.

Rose was tempted to make a type of 'no one asked you' comment to Erik but thought better of it and someone somewhere was clearly on her side as his phone was quickly swiped away. Smirking behind the hand covering her lips, Rose's attention swiveled back to Liam and Iris. "You got in a fight," Rose repeated slowly before shrugging her shoulders at Liam and adding, "my teachers a) a hormonal bitch and b) never quite gotten over the fact that I really don't know the answer and likes to use that against me as much as she can." Rose made a mental note to inquire about this fight later on but she'd rather do it away from Erik. Hearing the voice of Jasper wasn't much of a surprise, after all it seemed whenever Rose had detention, he had it too. Although this time Rose was not planning on revealing her sister's business to everyone. Then Skylar had arrived had Rose found that perhaps this detention wouldn't be too bad. "Well aren't we all freaking squad goals." Rose said with a quiet laugh, not wanting to attract unwanted attention from the teacher lurking over them all.

It seemed that in the space of 5 minutes not just one, but 4 of Iris' friends had rolled up to join her in detention. Well, they hadn't actually come to join her, but there they were, sitting in detention with each other. She smiled at Jasper and Sky when they walked in, then glanced around again as they began chattering slightly. It was obvious no one wanted Erik there, apart from himself, but it was also pretty obvious they weren't getting rid of him any time soon. Now he didn't have his phone with him either she could only assume he'd get worse. She couldn't help but chuckle at Rose's 'squad goals' comment, but before she could say anything in reply a voice came from the front of the classroom. "Quiet. This is detention, not a social club" The teacher said, causing Iris to roll her eyes. None of them wanted to be there, and while she knew that was the point, they were just trying to make the best out of a bad situation. She glanced around the group they'd formed again, wondering who was going to be first to ignore the teacher and begin talking again. She didn't have anything to say, so it wouldn't be her.

What the fuck was Skylar doing in detention?
No. Seriously.
She was the last kid Jasper had ever really expected to see. All those times that she had judged him for getting the damn things in the first place, and all those times that she'd pointed out that there was no need to do the things he did in order to get them, and yet her she was. Part of him wasn't even that surprised - she'd always seemed like the type to end up getting herself into shit. After all, she was friends with him, so it was bound to happen, right? Oh well. Turning his attention back to the front, he did his best to ignore everyone around him, deciding that his really couldn't be arsed with listening to Rose's conversation and, the further he stayed from Erik right now, the better. It was one thing to constantly fight with him, but Liam? There was a line being crossed somewhere, and Jasper's eyes glowed in just thinking about it. It was better just to get this shit over with, he thought, than spend the next hour boiling his own blood at the thought of knocking Erik out.
He was about to actually just shut up and do as he was told when a knock came to the door and it was promptly pushed open, petite blonde gripping the handle with slender fingers. She stood nervously (as usual), posture practically hanging off the door as soon sort of safety net as she composed herself, face flushed like she'd been running. "Sir?" she asked, still clinging to the door-handle like a life raft, "I know you're running detention and I know I'm not meant to be here and I know you're busy but-" she was cut off. "Levi, if you're about to tell me that you think your friend Jack has a nosebleed and you're worried he might be dying, you can come join the detention team, okay? I'm not putting up with your excuses anymore," the teacher sighed, gaze barely even flickering from the work in front of him. He'd heard it all before - it wasn't the first time Levi had forced a dramatic entrance, insisting that something awful had happened to her friend Jack and that he was in desperate need of the attention of someone with first aid knowledge. Okay, so most of the time (aka all) of the time, it was absolute bullshit, but excellent lying ran in the Gold's blood, so it's not like the teacher ever doubted her for long. If anything, Levi was a little too good at it, her face pulled into shock as he spoke, lip trembling slightly as she blinked back pretend tears.
"Please, Sir," Levi insisted, now biting down on her lip as her gaze dropped to the floor and she sniffed, "Hammerhea- Sergei knocked him unconscious and I can't handle it on my own." There was a few minutes of silence, but eventually the teacher just sighed, closing the book in front of him shut and heading towards the door, head shaking as he turned to the class, "I'll be back in five minutes - no talking. With that, he and Levi left, Levi glancing back at the class and throwing a cheeky wink to Jasper and Sky, doing her best to tame a mischievous smile as she turned to go.
Slowly, Jasper turned to look at Sky, making sure the teacher was officially gone before speaking up, "that girl's going to get herself in trouble one day y'know - I blame you." It was a joke, obviously, as Sky was definitely the well behaved one in their friendship. Still, she was in detention now, and it was pretty clear that Jasper wasn't going to let her hear the end of it.

Erik promptly stood up and grabbed his phone. He didn't really want to be in a room full of goody goodies and honestly he just wanted to fight or something just to make time fly by. He sat in the desk in front of Sky. "So, how are you ?" Erik asked with a smirk. He was very clearly still pissed at her. He smiled at her.
In his head he was already thinking of stuff he could do. He was tired of being this goody goody. He wasnt that kind of person. He was being a little too nice for his liking. He laughed a little to himself thinking of all the stuff he could do. Being bad always felt so good to Erik. Most people probably thought he was insane. They were probably right.
